Description Primary responsibility of the candidate is to drive revenue growth from government, defence and metrology segments in North. This involves identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and managing the sales process from start to finish. They also need to stay informed about market trends and competitor activity to effectively position their offerings. The following are the key deliverables Create and execute growth strategy and achieve orders, revenue and margin targets Build relationship with key accounts and proactively identify opportunities and provide solutions. Handle tender bidding process for government tenders Work with peers like product marketing, marketing and business development team to collaborate and create demand. Work with channel partners to identify accounts and run seminars to create demand. Maintain funnel in MSD and follow VM/DM metrics Negotiating contracts, pricing, and closing deals to achieve sales targets. Keeping abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to adapt sales strategies. Skills Required: Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interaction with clients and internal teams. Channel management skills : Ability to manage multiple channels in the region, manage logs and actively create business through channels too. Sales Acumen: A strong understanding of sales principles, techniques, and strategies is crucial for success. Relationship Building: The ability to build rapport and trust with clients is vital for long-term relationships. Negotiation Skills: The ability to negotiate effectively and close deals is important for achieving sales targets. Time Management: Effective time management and organizational skills are necessary to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Problem-Solving: The ability to identify and resolve issues that may arise during the sales process.
