As the Director of IT, you will oversee and direct all aspects of the Information Technology (IT) department.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Primary Responsibilities include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strategic planning and implementation of new technologies. Crafts strategic plan in concert with the leadership team. Sets goals and provides input for long-term planning.</li>\n <li>Internal IT Business Systems and applications maintenance and support.</li>\n <li>Responsible for budgeting, planning, implementation, and management of multiple data centers and remote branch offices.</li>\n <li>Maintenance and operational stability for the organization’s online Product Portfolio, strategic planning and implementation of new technologies, and quality assurance for all aspects of these systems.</li>\n <li>Staff, contractor, and consultants hiring, development, and training</li>\n <li>Prepares annual budget, sets policy, and reviews performance for all department staff.</li>\n <li>Embrace ITIL, and ITSM frameworks to provide measurement along with reporting of availability to achieve 99.9% uptime for data center resources.</li>\n <li>Achieve and maintain ISO 2700x certification for data center and business operations.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Education:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Masters Degree in Computer Science and/or Business Management with an emphasis on Computer Sciences. (Managerial/professional work experience may be substituted for an advanced degree.)</li>\n <li>Formal education, certificate programs encompassing Managerial Practices, Personnel Management, IT Project Planning, and Quality Assurance Practices.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Experience:</p>\n<p>Minimum of 10 years of information technology and/or software engineering experience. Fifteen or more are preferred. 7 years of management experience.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Special Skills:</p>\n<p>Focus on Customer/Client Satisfaction.</p>\n<p>Excellent organizational and leadership skills.</p>\n<p>Excellent written and oral presentation skills.</p>\n<p>Professional in demeanor.</p>\n<p>Ability to handle multiple tasks; self-initiative.</p>\n<p>Considerable creative, independent, and original thinking is required.</p>\n<p>Must be capable of managing multiple complex projects and assignments concurrently.</p>\n<p>A high degree of analytical skill is needed for all of the primary responsibilities.</p>\n<p>Must be results-oriented.</p>\n<p>Rapid Continuous Improvement.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Supervises and Directs:</p>\n<p>Data Center Infrastructure</p>\n<p>IT Operations manager</p>\n<p>Data Base Manager</p>\n<p>Cyber Security / Governance Risk Compliance</p>\n<p>ISO 2700x, ITIL, ITSM, CMDB, Ticketing</p>\n<p>Remote Branch Office IT resources</p>\n<p>External contractors and other outside resources</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The total staff and contractors will average 25 to 30 individuals.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>This is a full-time, in-office role located at our San Dieg<em>o headquarters: 16067 Babcock Street, San D</em>iego, CA 92127</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>The expected hiring range for this position is $180,000 - $220,000.
