The Senior Clinical Program Director is a highly skilled clinician and leader who embodies the CV values and mission, maintains morale and integrity of the program, is energetic, supportive, a team player, and able to oversee the model implementation of 4 - 6 teams with strong QI/QA and fidelity. Our goal is to identify and address behaviors placing children at risk and breaking down the walls of isolation that often surround at-risk families. As a community-based program we promote the safety of children, strengthening families and help expedite the return of children previously in care. The Children&rsquo;s Villages uses Evidence Based Programs/Initiatives such as MultiSystemic Therapy (MST) and Functional Family Therapy as treatment modalities within its Programing. CV implements 6 adaptations of MST; Standard, MST-SA, MST-FIT, MST-Prev, MST-EA and MST-PSB and 2 adaptions of FFT; Standard and FFT-CW. The MST and FFT models fit well with the Children&rsquo;s Village mission statement, strategic intent. CV values using a racial equity lens in the effort to keep families safely together through prevention or reunification and to The EBMs promote social responsibility, education, economic productivity, community responsibility and an intolerance of violence and prejudice.</span></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'><span style='font-size: 16px; font-family: \"times new roman\", serif;'><br></span></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;' data-pasted=\"true\"><span style='font-size: 16px; font-family: \"times new roman\", serif;'>MST (Multisystemic Therapy) is an intensive family and community based treatment that addresses the multiple determinants of serious antisocial behavior in juvenile delinquents and offenders. MST addresses the multiple factors known to be related to delinquency across the key settings, or systems, within which youth are embedded (e.g. family, peers, school, neighborhood). MST strives to promote behavior change in the youth&rsquo;s natural environment, using the strengths of each system to facilitate change.</span></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'><span style='font-size: 16px; font-family: \"times new roman\", serif;'><br></span></p><p><span style='font-size: 16px; font-family: \"times new roman\", serif;'>FFT is a strength-based, short-term, high quality intervention program. At its core is a focus, and assessment of risk and protective factors that impact the families and their environment. Specific attention is paid towards interfamilial and extra familial factors, and how they present within and influence the therapeutic process.</span></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;' data-pasted=\"true\"><span style='font-size: 16px; font-family: \"times new roman\", serif;'><strong><u>Position Qualifications:&nbsp;</u></strong></span></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'><span style='font-size: 16px; font-family: \"times new roman\", serif;'><br></span></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'><span style='font-size: 16px; font-family: \"times new roman\", serif;'>Professional license in Social Work (LCSW), Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or Ph.D. in Psychology. Person must also possess a minimum of 4 years of experience with community evidence-based programming and with administration in a child welfare, mental health or social service agency including a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in a social service setting plus 1 year as a Clinical Program Director. Candidate must have a demonstrated proficiency in networking within the child welfare community of NYC &amp; NYS including ACS. Extensive experience in ACS preventive services and Connections preferred. Candidate must also have a minimum of 2 years engaging in QA tasks. Degree in Social Work preferred.
