The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, a solid understanding of data modeling best practices, and the ability to deliver insights that support strategic decision‑making.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Power BI Development</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.</li>\n <li>Build shared and certified semantic models to support self-service analytics and standardized reporting.</li>\n <li>Develop complex DAX calculations, measures, and KPIs that ensure accurate, consistent business logic.</li>\n <li>Optimize Power BI performance through model tuning, query reduction, and best-practice visualization standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Data Modeling & Semantic Layer</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Design star schemas, dimensional models, and reusable semantic models for enterprise reporting.</li>\n <li>Define relationships, hierarchies, and calculation groups to ensure scalable and maintainable datasets.</li>\n <li>Align semantic models with enterprise data governance, naming conventions, and data definitions.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>SQL & Data Engineering Support</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Write advanced SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate datasets from relational and cloud data platforms.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with data engineering teams to refine source data structures and improve data quality.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot data discrepancies, performance issues, and ETL/ELT data flow challenges.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements Gathering & Stakeholder Engagement</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Partner with business teams to understand reporting needs, KPIs, and functional requirements.</li>\n <li>Translate business needs into technical specifications and reporting solutions.</li>\n <li>Provide user training, documentation, and support for Power BI adoption across the organization.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or related field.</li>\n <li>3+ years of hands-on experience with <strong>Power BI development</strong>.</li>\n <li>Strong expertise with <strong>DAX</strong>, including advanced calculations and time-intelligence functions.</li>\n <li>Proficient with <strong>SQL</strong> (joins, CTEs, window functions, performance tuning).</li>\n <li>Experience building and maintaining <strong>Power BI semantic models</strong> (star schema, fact/dim tables).</li>\n <li>Knowledge of BI best practices, data modeling methodologies, and performance optimization.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure Synapse, Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.).</li>\n <li>Familiarity with data governance, metadata, and enterprise reporting standards.</li>\n <li>Experience with version control (Git) and DevOps CI/CD for BI assets.</li>\n <li>Understanding of modern analytics platforms and data architecture patterns.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Field</h2>\n<p>We offer a comprehensive benefit package.
