Description

Other users of our vacuum-based processes include the life sciences, research, aerospace, packaging, heat treatment, laser cutting and many other industrial processes. We also leverage our expertise in vacuum technology to provide unique, toxic chemical analysis products for emergency response, security, and environmental health and safety.
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Production Support Specialist to support our high-tech production environment. In this role, you will ensure smooth material flow, timely replenishment, and uninterrupted production operations within our manufacturing area. You will play a key part in maintaining lean processes, reducing downtime, and supporting efficient cleanroom operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure timely delivery and replenishment of materials, components, and consumables to production workstations.
• Remove finished goods, scrap, and empty material containers from the production floor.
• Manage Kanban systems and material call signals to support Just-in-Time production.
• Monitor inventory levels at point-of-use and proactively escalate potential shortages.
• Maintain clean, organized, and clearly labeled material staging areas in accordance with 5S standards.
• Support adherence to cleanroom procedures, contamination control, and safety standards.
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives related to material flow, waste reduction, and operational efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with operators, logistics, and supervisors to prevent production interruptions.

• Physically able to move materials and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Proactive, structured working style with a focus on maintaining continuous flow.
The expected salary range for this position is between $27-$32 per hour. In addition, INFICON employees are eligible for a profit-sharing bonus with a target of 10%. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law
