Known for its energetic atmosphere, bold flavors, and social vibe, we are the go-to spot for golden hour gatherings, late-night bites, and unforgettable nights out with friends.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>Servers are the face of Taco Tempo, responsible for creating memorable guest experiences through exceptional service, product knowledge, and engaging energy.\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p></p> \n<ul>\n <li><p>Takes guests’ orders using table numbers and appropriate order-taking methods</p></li>\n <li><p>Enters orders accurately into the POS system</p></li>\n <li><p>Serves food and beverages promptly and professionally</p></li>\n <li><p>Ensures a final quality check of all food and beverages before serving</p></li>\n <li><p>Monitors assigned tables to ensure guest satisfaction and respond to needs</p></li>\n <li><p>Familiarizes themselves with all menus, including food, cocktails, margaritas, tequila flights, and specials</p></li>\n <li><p>Answers questions and makes recommendations on menu items, including pairings</p></li>\n <li><p>Explains menu items, preparation methods, and ingredients when requested</p></li>\n <li><p>Promotes daily/nightly specials and creatively upsells products to guests</p></li>\n <li><p>Checks guest identification to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption</p></li>\n <li><p>Accurately prepares and presents guest bills and ensures proper payment is received</p></li>\n <li><p>Follows all bookkeeping and cash-handling procedures</p></li>\n <li><p>Accurately reports tips and shift times at the end of each shift</p></li>\n <li><p>Resets dining areas after guests depart and maintains cleanliness throughout shift</p></li>\n <li><p>Cleans and properly sanitizes tables, counters, and chairs</p></li>\n <li><p>Performs food and beverage prep duties (stocking, condiments, etc.)</p></li>\n <li><p>Completes all opening, ongoing, and closing side work, with manager sign-off</p></li>\n <li><p>Works collaboratively with team members to maintain a high-energy, smooth operation</p></li>\n <li><p>Creates a welcoming, fun, and engaging atmosphere consistent with the Taco Tempo brand</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p></p> \n<ul>\n <li>Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred</li>\n <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li>\n <li>Friendly, outgoing, and guest-focused personality</li>\n <li>Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment</li>\n <li>Passion for hospitality and creating elevated guest experiences</li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>Requirements</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be available to work <strong>Thursday through Saturday (required)</strong></li>\n <li>Must be comfortable working <strong>outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions</strong></li>\n <li>Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously during shifts</li>\n <li>Must be able to understand, speak, read, and write basic English</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Working Environment/Physical Demands:</u></strong></p>\n<p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to walk, and stand, 8+ hours per day.</li>\n <li>The team member may be asked to use hands and arms to reach, carry, pull, and lift to 25 lbs.  </li>\n <li>The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Note:</strong> This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities or qualifications associated with the job.
