This is a B2B marketing role for someone who understands that genuine relationships build revenue.
You’ll sit at the intersection of brand, marketing operations and business growth — helping us build on our trusted perception while keeping the practical engine running behind the scenes.
This is not reach-led marketing. It’s relevance-led. You’ll help package our value for safety leaders in Australia and globally, manage a tight events calendar, keep the CRM clean, and create meaningful interactions that grow new business opportunities.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Event Management
For a niche business like ours, events are rare and high-stakes — a handful of chances each year to speak directly to the people who matter most to us. When we go, we go all in: keynotes, roundtables, the best booth in the room, and collateral people actually want to take home. This role owns events end-to-end — strategy, execution, and everything in between.
Work closely with the leadership team to ensure we're at the events that actually move the needle for EM.
Own the events calendar and see everything through from strategy to pack-down.
Stay across new and emerging events where we can show — not just tell — what EM does.
Build and maintain vendor relationships, and handle the contracts and negotiations that keep things moving.
Own the logistics — venue, travel, bump-in/bump-out, and everything on the day.
Coordinate the development and design of all event collateral.
Drive pre- and post-event marketing to build momentum before and turn the event into real conversations after.
Marketing
Marketing at EM is to be the architect and builder of how our purpose shows up in the world. We already have a strong reason to exist, a clear visual identity, and real value to offer our collaborators across key industries. The opportunity now is to keep finding more meaningful ways in — building trust through relevant content, useful conversations and well-timed moments that meet people where they are. Marketing’s role is to understand what each channel can contribute, then use it with intent: to make our POV clear to many, easier to find, our value easier to understand, and our relationships easier to grow. To take the vision and turn it into something people can see, feel, use and act on.
Own and manage the annual marketing and content calendar.
Develop, plan and publish integrated B2B campaigns and content in line with strategy.
Create, monitor and optimise content on our website to improve engagement.
Run our email sequences end-to-end — scheduling, list management, hygiene and deployment via HubSpot.
Work with the team to design assets and ensure they’re creative, thoughtful, and timely.
Work with strategic leads from each vertical of our business to ensure content is targeted and provides value to our audience.
Provide clear, regular reporting on key marketing metrics and continue to optimise
Manage hubspot lists and surface insights that help the team develop closer relationships and make better decisions to grow the business.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
B2B marketing experience.
You understand the B2B buyer journey. You know a lead is a relationship, not a transaction.
HubSpot proficiency.
Workflows, lists, pipelines, sequences, and reporting. You know your way around the system.
Project management.
You’re organised, outcome-oriented, and good at managing competing priorities without dropping the ball.
Data fluency.
You can pull a report, interpret the numbers, and communicate what they mean in plain language.
Content coordination.
You can manage a schedule, chase assets, and get campaigns out the door on time.
