    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>The Datacenter Operations Manager is responsible for the operational management of data center infrastructure located in Fortinet’s Chicago office. This equipment supports the FortiMonitor and FortiSASE products, both fast-growing product lines with ever-increasing capacity needs. The Chicago office houses both production FortiSASE hardware as well as development, QA, and testing hardware for FortiMonitor.</p><p>A successful Datacenter Operations Manager will:</p><ul><li>Effectively manage network and server equipment, including setup, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, as needed on a day-to-day basis.</li><li>Understand the relationships between datacenter equipment and hard facility services, including lighting, plumbing, HVAC, fire safety systems, UPS, etc.</li><li>Work with the larger Fortinet MIS team on larger datacenter planning, operations and compliance processes.</li><li>Configure and manage monitoring and alerting systems to provide effective systems oversight and the ability to respond rapidly to incidents</li><li>Oversee well-defined compliance processes covering SOC2 and ISO9001/27001/27017/27018, including user access reviews, permissions reviews, physical infrastructure reviews and cleanup, and evidence collection for audit cycles<br><br>Qualifications</li><li>Must have Kubernetes experience.</li><li>5+ years experience with physical datacenter infrastructure management, including servers, network firewalls, switches and routers, UPS and power backup equipment.</li><li>Excellent organizational and collaboration skills as well as an ability to perform under pressure</li><li>Ability to speak clearly &amp; confidently about technology and internet concepts and interact with other technical parties</li><li>Familiarity with industry standard system management and virtualization tools, such as GCP cloud APIs, Ansible, Docker, Terraform, etc</li><li>Capable of performing financial analysis and administrative work</li><li>Experience with compliance processes such as SOC2 and ISO9001/27001/27017/27018</li><li>Deep knowledge of unix command line tools and some experience with common scripting languages including bash and Python</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Aptos&quot;,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt;\"><strong>Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.</strong></span></span></p><p>The US base salary range for this full-time position is $90,000-$125,000. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.</p><p>All roles are eligible to participate in the Fortinet equity program.
