In general, this timeframe tends to be 6-8 weeks. Note there may be situations where in-person training may be extended, someone may choose, or be asked to return onsite which would be coordinated and scheduled in advance. Additionally, this position does request 1 day per week (Wednesday) onsite.</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p>We work with businesses and organizations of all kinds to provide them with personalized promotional products. When you work here, you&rsquo;ll be treated with the same level of respect and positive attitude.</p><p>As a supplier operations price analyst, you will collaborate with the Senior supplier operations support manager to ensure we maintain a competitive position on net costs. You will lead, coordinate, and finalize the price revision process for a select group of assigned suppliers by reviewing, analyzing, negotiating, and processing all cost changes submitted.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Here&rsquo;s what a typical day might look like.</strong><strong>&nbsp;(These are the essential functions of the job.)&nbsp;</strong><strong>Other duties may be assigned.</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li>Demonstrate the eight core principles that guide every 4imprint teammate on a daily basis: Honesty, Curiosity, Collaboration, Flexibility, Accountability, Empathy, Positive Attitude, and Humility.</li><li>Develop collaborative relationships with our supplier partners while representing 4imprint in a professional manner.</li><li>Work with and independent of the Senior Supplier Operations Support Manager to review, analyze, assess impact, and approve vendor price updates from all suppliers.&nbsp;</li><li>Prioritize submissions to ensure supplier timelines are met, in line with our own, and collaborative relations with the supplier are maintained.&nbsp;</li><li>Negotiate with suppliers where needed to minimize the financial impact of price changes.</li><li>Summarize supplier level impact data and share results with management so they can monitor and assess the strategic effect on the business.</li><li>Maintain reports to analyze, monitor activity, and modify data sets used by the price team, supplier operations, marketing, merchandising, and executive team.&nbsp;</li><li>Analyze prices for market competitiveness and suggest when benchmarking or further negotiation may be necessary.</li><li>Maintain a current understanding of market trends and macroeconomic changes and how they apply to proposed price changes.</li><li>Review and assess the appropriate resolution to purchase order price discrepancy questions from price support associates and adjust records as needed.</li><li>Work closely with internal team members across all departments to coordinate information flow between suppliers and 4imprint.</li><li>Collaborate with leadership on special projects related to price analytics, new procedures, and strategic initiatives.</li><li>Participate in training classes and actively seek professional development.</li></ul><p><strong>You might be a fit for this position if you are:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li>Someone who has strong interest in analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving capabilities.</li><li>Organized, results-driven, and a multi-tasker with strong attention to detail and identifying patterns in data sets.</li><li>Friendly, tactful, and professional in your communications on the phone, in person, and in e-mail to external (suppliers) and internal partners.</li><li>Capable of empathetically yet skillfully handling difficult conversations and situations.</li><li>Someone with the ability to present complex data to management and stakeholders.</li><li>Someone who enjoys challenges, change, and trying new things.</li><li>Willing to work extended hours, as needed.</li></ul><p><strong>Required education/skills/experience:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li>Minimum of associate&rsquo;s degree in marketing, business, finance, or related degree.<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li>Applicants with equivalent directly relevant work experience will also be considered.&nbsp;</li></ul></li><li>Previous experience as a buyer or cost accountant a plus.&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrable understanding of margins, markup, product life cycle, etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with price methods, costing, and competitive cost analysis preferred.</li><li>Experience in the promotional products industry preferred.</li><li>Able to demonstrate strong computer skills with working knowledge of databases, intermediate/advanced Excel skills, and proficiency in other Microsoft Office Suite applications and managing large sets of data.</li><li>Please refer to the physical requirements form for details on the physical requirements of this role.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Work Environment:</strong></p><p>An individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties, responsibilities, and physical demands listed in this job description.&nbsp;</p><p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
