    "description": "<h2>OBJECTIVE</h2>\n<p><strong>Senior Life Actuary Objective</strong></p>\n<p>To provide life actuarial programs, spreadsheets, reports, models, and supporting information for preparation of specific financial reporting, product development, and regulatory and analytical tasks. To incorporate new methodologies into actuarial functions.</p>\n<h2>RESPONSIBILITIES</h2>\n<p><strong>Senior Life Actuary Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p>Oversee and monitor monthly and annual experience studies and make recommendations for modeling assumptions, including mortality and persistency assumptions.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Oversee the monitoring of major pricing assumptions for all products. Oversee the design and pricing new products consistent with the corporate objectives and needs. Maintain up-to-date information on changes in products offered by other life insurance companies.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Oversee and develop recommendations for interest rates and other non-guaranteed elements for existing products.</p>\n<h2>QUALIFICATIONS</h2>\n<p><strong>Senior Life Actuary Qualifications</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Required</strong>:  Bachelor's degree required, preferably in mathematics, statistics or actuarial science. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Five years life actuarial experience required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word and Excel) required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Willingness to pursue continuing job-related training and education required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Completion of the Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation required. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferred</strong>:  Seven years life actuarial experience preferred.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Experience in pricing, multivariate analysis, and reserving preferred.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Completion of the Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation preferred.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>FIS Prophet modeling experience is preferred, but not mandatory.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Note:</strong> Farm Bureau offers a full benefit package including medical, dental, vision, and 401K.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>PM19</p>",
