Our purpose and passion are to empower patients, their families, and our communities by helping individuals achieve recovery and optimal wellness of the mind, body, and spirit.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Job Summary: </strong></p>\n<p>Outreach Associates are responsible for building relationships with qualified referral partners in the Los Angeles, CA territory, for the purpose of facilitating admissions to American Addiction Centers Treatment Programs.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>***You must reside in the city of Los Angeles, CA</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Duties and Responsibilities: </u></strong></p>\n<p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.</p>\n<p>The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Identifies, builds, and maintains relationships with key referral partners.</li>\n <li>Maintains a regular servicing schedule that organizes a balance of referral partner maintenance and new business development. </li>\n <li>Manages all client related communication and CRM remotely, via AAC provided smart mobile devices. Communication may frequently fall outside of regular business hours (including weekends). Occasional overnight travel will be required. </li>\n <li>Effectively converts a general inquiry to a rescue by managing the admissions process. Outreach Associates are measured monthly against companywide Key Performance Indicators. (KPI’s). </li>\n <li>Has a general understanding of treatment modalities, levels of care, and industry best practices for treating substance use and co-occurring disorders.</li>\n <li>Possesses the ability to multi-task, work with minimal supervision and problem solve through a variety of scenarios. </li>\n <li>Conducts quality presentations for agencies, hospital staff, discharge planners, and other groups as they are identified.</li>\n <li>Builds and maintains productive interdepartmental relationships.</li>\n <li>Appropriate dress expected. </li>\n <li>Adheres to all expense limitations and guidelines and submits monthly expenses via Expensify by the designated deadline. </li>\n <li>Ability to clearly communicate with key members of the team, regarding potential admits and clients in the pipeline. </li>\n <li>Ability to assist clinical team with discharge planning – identifying and contacting appropriate facilities for transfer of care when needed. </li>\n <li>Knowledge of managed care and insurance- as it relates to mental health benefits- is a plus.</li>\n <li>Outreach Associates must have the skills and competency to communicate with people at all levels of the organization; including- executive management, patients, and external agencies.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Education/Experience:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Four-year degree or equivalent demonstrated experience in addiction treatment marketing field.</li>\n <li>1+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>\n <li>Organizational skills</li>\n <li>Ability to multitask</li>\n <li>Ability to travel through an area covering multiple states</li>\n <li>Technologically savvy</li>\n <li>Ability to create reports outlining weekly visits</li>\n <li>Knowledge of the substance abuse industry preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Physical Requirements</u></strong></p>\n<p>AAC is committed to principles of equal opportunities for all employees.
