          "text": "<p>This position is responsible for verifying and keeping records on incoming &amp; outgoing shipments, and for preparing packing slips and any required paperwork for shipment. Duties include addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material; receiving, verifying, and recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products. The successful candidate will perform day-to-day administrative tasks, such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork. Kennedy Valve places significant value on positive, active team members that are customer centric, open, and approachable, and have the ability to effectively collaborate with team members across all levels of the organization.</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>JOB DUTIES </strong></p><ul><li>Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment, such as verifying information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.</li><li>Periodically prepares reports for management.</li><li>Attach shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons.</li><li>Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.</li><li>Overall responsibility for appropriate movement of goods throughout the facility while maintaining a neat and well-organized work area.</li><li>Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.</li></ul>",
