Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where your ideas directly shape the product? At Voliro, we are redefining aerial work with cutting-edge drone technology—and we’re looking for a Testing Engineer Intern to help take our platform, Voliro T, to the next level.</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">You will design manual test procedures, coordinate and execute tests, and ensure that new features meet the highest quality standards. Your work will directly impact our release quality, platform stability, and development velocity.</span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">What You’ll Do</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Own testing across the full platform stack, from low-level embedded components to high-level system behavior.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Develop and maintain a manual test suite, creating test procedures (\"test cards\") to validate features, performance, and stability.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ensure test coverage for multiple release conditions: pull request validation, release candidates, and post-deployment testing.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Investigate bugs across software and hardware boundaries; lead first-level diagnostics and document findings for deeper triage or fixes. In many cases this will require close collaboration with some of the engineers.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">What We’re Looking For</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Affinity to technology and/or technical background</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Strong systems thinking and an eye for end-to-end quality in complex embedded platforms.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Experience designing and executing manual test plans for embedded or robotics systems.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Proactive, organized, and not afraid to dive into hardware setups or troubleshoot complex bugs.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Excellent communication and collaboration skills</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Swiss driver's license is required for this position</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Bonus Points</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Basic Python or C++ skills to build test scripts to support developers</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Comfortable working with Linux-based embedded devices and understanding core system components like networking, logging, and daemons.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Familiarity with CI/CD systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI) and automated testing pipelines.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Familiarity with RTOS-based systems and their specific debugging/testing challenges.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Prior work with hardware-in-the-loop or simulation-based testing environments.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Background in release engineering or managing QA processes for hardware/software products.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Benefits</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Voliro is an opportunity for you to join a team at the forefront of the robotics industry, a team of pioneers and enthusiasts.
