Advanced Behavioral Health, Inc. is looking for Therapists to join our new program, Stand Tall and Remain in School (STARS) to deliver school-based mental health services to students in kindergarten through 12th grade (K-12) in Carroll County Public Schools, addressing school refusal behavior and associated mental health challenges. The Therapists will provide comprehensive, evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support student attendance, engagement, and overall well-being, with an emphasis on early identification and intervention. ABH is a family centered mental health program that offers a wraparound approach to treatment. We specialize in Psychiatry, Off-Site Counseling Services, On-Site therapy, and Therapeutic Mentoring. Compensation:  $63,500 - $85,000 based on licensure, experience, and if bilingual Spanish Job Types: W2, Full-Time Location: Carroll County, Maryland Essential Functions: Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy to students in grades K-12. participation in the STARS Program, with a focus on addressing factors that may contribute to school avoidance. Conduct clinical assessments to evaluate mental health, emotional, and behavioral needs related to school refusal and chronic absenteeism.  Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based, trauma-informed interventions tailored to each student's needs.  Collaborate with school personnel, families, and other service providers to coordinate care and ensure a comprehensive support system for each student.  Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to support positive mental health outcomes and improved school attendance.  Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with agency, school district, and legal standards.  Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case reviews, and professional development activities related to school-based mental health services.  Manage a caseload of 20-25 clients, weekly sessions with students and family.  Qualifications: Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related discipline; Licensed in the state of Maryland as a LMSW, or LCSW-C, LGPC, or LCPC; Previous experience doing psychotherapy desired. Ability to manage, delegate and manage multiple tasks. Ability to travel 60% of the time. Must be sensitive to the cultural and socioeconomic differences present among the practices service population. Empathy and Compassion. Excellent customer service, listening, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Responsible, reliable and punctual. Must demonstrate understanding of managed care concepts and willingness to provide treatment and work within that system.
