You will protect and promote the interests of both Gilbane and the client in all matters as well as demonstrating the personal characteristics of a developing leader. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Updates and maintains contract documents, including document logs</li>\n <li>Reviews, processes and distributes accurate submittals and RFIs</li>\n <li>Participates in and writes notes, instructions, or minutes from meetings that clearly communicate discussion agreements, decisions, and actions </li>\n <li>Participates in change review meetings and Project Financial Forecast Meetings</li>\n <li>Assists in coordination of trade contractors to meet project schedule </li>\n <li>Reviews, understands, and follows Baseline requirements</li>\n <li>Supports all safety efforts in the field, including: leading safety orientations, conducting and documenting safety inspections, and implementing changes as needed</li>\n <li>Stays informed of all field activities</li>\n <li>Tracks work in place and productivity</li>\n <li>Contributes to daily reports and documentation </li>\n <li>Participates in quality control activities and ensures trades are adhering to quality practices</li>\n <li>Establishes credibility among trade contractors by maintaining a fair and trustworthy environment </li>\n <li>Understands Site Services/NEXT 150 as a project resource</li>\n <li>Participates in stretch and flex and daily huddle</li>\n <li>Increases understanding of contract documents and scopes of work</li>\n <li>Participates in ERGs and Peer Group meetings and events</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management </li>\n <li>0-1 years of experience or internships with a construction organization </li>\n <li>Or equivalent combination of education and experience </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Some knowledge of commercial/institutional construction project</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Procore</li>\n <li>Good capabilities in Microsoft Office programs</li>\n <li>Strong technical and communication skills are critical</li>\n <li>OSHA 30 hour certification required</li>\n <li>First Aid, CPR Trained </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.</p>\n<p>For (New York) this ranges from $64,000-$78,000 plus benefits and retirement program.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Gilbane offers an excellent total compensation package which includes competitive health and welfare benefits and a generous profit-sharing/401k plan.
