    "jobDescription": "The Technical Release Management Specialist collaborates with others to provide and maintain applications that meet business needs. You will be responsible for design and development for simple to moderately complex business solutions. Understands functionality, integration points and impacts of proposed changes to supporting applications. </span></li><li><span>You will follow through with options and recommendations.</span></li><li><span>You will provide appropriate documentation for design decisions, estimating assumptions, code modules, and performance metrics as required by organization standards.</span></li><li><span>You will define, conduct, and/or participate in testing (i.e. unit, system integration).</span></li><li><span>You will collaborate with others regarding effectiveness of systems flow, data usage and manual or automated processes to verify requirements.</span></li><li><span>You will ensure software development meets standards for programming, design, performance, quality, and security.</span></li><li><span>You will participate in team activities and taking on additional work tasks as needed to help the team accomplish the desired outcome or goals.</span></li><li><span>You will create, maintain, and/or enhance system documentation as needed.</span></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p><span>Specialized Knowledge &amp; Skills Requirements</span></p><ul><li><span>Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service</span></li><li><span>Basic knowledge and understanding of integration and migration strategies and technologies.</span></li><li><span>Basic knowledge and understanding of application architecture, design alternatives, and development standards.</span></li><li><span>Demonstrated experience developing complex software/systems using one or more programming language.</span></li><li><span>Demonstrated experience interpreting, modifying and writing application system design and program specifications.</span></li><li><span>Demonstrated experience using and supporting integration and communications technologies between applications, databases and technology platforms.</span></li><li><span>Demonstrated experience using relational databases and standard query language (SQL).</span></li><li><span>Solid knowledge and understanding of systems development life cycle (SDLC).</span></li><li><span>Solid knowledge and understanding of activities, tasks, tools and techniques for testing applications to ensure adherence to functional and quality requirements.</span></li></ul><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li><span style=\"color:#242424\">To ensure a strong start, all employees participate in our New Employee Orientation during their first week.  This experience is held in person at our Madison, WI Headquarters or one of our AmFam core locations to help you connect with our mission, meet key team members and build relationships that support your growth.  At times, sessions may be delivered virtually based on scheduling and availability. </span></li><li>Offer to selected candidate will be made contingent on the results of applicable background checks</li><li>Offer to selected candidate is contingent on signing a non-disclosure agreement for proprietary information, trade secrets, and inventions</li><li>Sponsorship will not be considered for this position unless specified in the posting</li></ul><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><p><span>Specialized Knowledge &amp; Skills Preferences</span></p><ul><li><p><span>Understanding of systems development life cycle (SDLC) and software delivery processes.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Demonstrated ability to coordinate tasks and communicate effectively within cross-functional teams.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Knowledge of application environments, infrastructure components, and system integrations.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience or familiarity with release coordination, deployment support, or IT operations activities is preferred.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Exposure to release orchestration tools, ticketing systems, or automation platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, Jenkins) is a plus.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ability to identify issues, escalate appropriately, and follow through to resolution.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within a structured release management environment.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience working in Agile or team-based delivery environments is preferred.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience or familiarity with GitLab pipeline</span></p></li><li><span>Travel requirements up to 5%</span></li></ul><p></p><p><span>#LI-Hybrid</span></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\"><span>We provide benefits that support your physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing.
