Those translations will be from students in Mandarin to the instructor in English and from the instructor in English to the students in Mandarin.</span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Translator responsibilities include reading and thoroughly understanding the context of given material, using specialized dictionaries and translation tools and proofreading finished pieces of work.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px\">POSITION DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">Convert courses from one language to one or more others</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">Ensure translated content conveys original meaning and tone</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">Cross-reference specialized dictionaries and translation tools to check quality of translation</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy in case of other translation needed.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">Follow up with internal team members and clients to ensure translation meets their needs</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">Network with field experts to stay current on new translation tools and practices</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">Follows ethical codes that protect the confidentiality of information.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">Identifies and resolve conflicts related to the meanings of words, concepts, practices, or behaviors.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">Working at either our Happo One or Tsugaike mountain location, in a busy, fast paced, team environment</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">Assist/support administration team with any translation/interpretation needed, customer service and booking platform process support.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px\">ADDITIONAL DUTIES</span></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Due to the many variables that affect business operations, occasionally, employees may be asked to perform other duties or assist in efforts outside their primary area of responsibility, when deemed necessary.
