    "requisitionDescription": "<div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.13.17/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\">&nbsp;<link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.13.17/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div class=\"fr-view\"><p id=\"isPasted\">The City of Pewaukee has an opening in our Engineering Division of the Department of Public Works for a full-time Senior Engineering Technician. &nbsp;The hourly wage range is $30.84-$33.48 with a very generous benefits package. &nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;Examples of the duties of this position include &ndash; <strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li data-pasted=\"true\">Confer with supervisor, Public Works staff to determine project details relative to erosion control, grading plans, water main, sanitary sewer, stormwater, streets, and all other public works projects and programs.</li><li>Provide, coordinate and assist with necessary surveying services for design and construction of assigned projects.&nbsp;</li><li>Produce schematics using AutoCAD to illustrate survey data collected in the field or received from external organizations.&nbsp;</li><li>Write/review legal descriptions of parcels and special assessment districts.</li><li>Obtain recorded legal documents from Waukesha County Land Records pertaining to easement location and property ownership.</li><li>Assist with special assessments, including special assessment rolls, charges, and records; respond to inquiries and complaints from property owners, title companies, attorneys, realtors, and others to clarify and explain assessment process and information.</li><li>Serve as the primary contact for residents and contractors requesting driveway construction permits.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;See job description for a full list of duties.</p><p>&nbsp;Qualified applicants will have an Associate&rsquo;s or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering or closely related field; &nbsp;6+ years of progressively responsible municipal engineering experience preferred; or equivalent combination of experience and education; municipal construction inspection experience is preferred; a valid Wisconsin driver&rsquo;s license, an acceptable driving record, and personal motor vehicle insurance.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong>Completed applications are mandatory and can be found online at the Employment Opportunities page of the City of Pewaukee website, <a href=\"http://www.cityofpewaukee.us\" target=\"_blank\">www.cityofpewaukee.us</a>.</p><p>Applications will be reviewed as they are received with the job post remaining open until filled.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;The City of Pewaukee is an equal opportunity employer.</p></div></div>\n",
