KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creates and maintains a data dictionary and meta data.
Supports efforts to ensure that data standards are developed and maintained.
Ensures that the uses of data through reports and queries are accurate.
Supports business and system re-engineering and architecture development to define future data needs.
Serves as an organizational consultant on matters relating to databases by providing expertise to assist users in meeting their needs.
Performs other related duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor's degree and one year of experience in data analysis, statistics, or a related field, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS:
The Computational Mechanisms of Psychopathology lab (COMPLab) is hiring a Data Analyst to startspring/summer 2026.
This position will play a critical role in building and maintaining analysis pipelines, ensuringdata quality, conducting analyses, and serving as a technical resource for lab members.
The ideal candidate will combine strong technical skills in neuroimaging and computational methods with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse research projects.
Core responsibilities include designing and maintaining analysis pipelines for neuroimaging (functional and structural MRI), psychophysiological, behavioral, and passive sensing data; ensuring best practices for data organization and analysis; performing statistical analyses and generating visualizations for ongoing research projects; and serving as a technical resource for other lab members.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with neuroimaging analysis (e.g., FSL, AFNI, SPM, ANTs, Freesurfer), strong programming skills, experience with version control systems (e.g., GitHub), knowledge of basic statistical approaches (e.g., linear regression), strong organizational skills and attention to detail, and excellentcommunication skills.
Computational modeling of behavior (e.g., reinforcement learning), psychophysiological data analysis (e.g., pupillometry, skin conductance), analysis of passive sensingdata (e.g., GPS), machine learning-based neuroimaging analyses, and advanced statistical approaches (e.g., multilevel modeling).
