    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Cordoba Corporation is a leading engineering and design firm based in California. We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Education & Facilities Sector. This position is bond-eligible and is strictly limited to work associated with capital construction, modernization, and sustainability projects as defined under our client's Bond Program. Duties performed under this position shall not include routine maintenance, repair, or operational tasks that fall within the responsibilities of facilities Maintenance & Operations (M&O). The scope of this role is exclusively tied to bond-eligible activities such as planning, design, construction, commissioning, and related project management functions necessary to deliver capital improvements consistent with our client’s Capital Construction Bond Program requirements and legal limitations governing bond fund expenditures.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead and manage sustainability projects in accordance with District and program policies and procedures for College construction bond operations.</li>\n <li>Ensure all project planning aligns with the  District’s sustainability goals and initiatives.</li>\n <li>Follow and successfully execute the program Quality Management System.</li>\n <li>Review and develop contract documents.</li>\n <li>Plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and report performance of construction projects.</li>\n <li>Identify risks and create risk mitigation plans successfully.</li>\n <li>Document and report all project data accurately and in a timely manner.</li>\n <li>Successfully manage and execute 5 to 10 projects simultaneously, ranging in construction value and complexity from $1M to $30M each.</li>\n <li>Deliver construction projects on schedule and within budget.</li>\n <li>Successfully closeout projects in accordance with DSA and PMO/District protocols.</li>\n <li>Track the status of all projects and provide management reports relative to construction project delivery schedules.</li>\n <li>Track status and provide management reports relative to scheduling, cost control, staffing, and other related construction contract requirements.</li>\n <li>Review and inspect construction site offices to assess the performance of construction teams and adherence to legal requirements.</li>\n <li>Review recommended actions in resolving disputes relative to construction projects.</li>\n <li>Direct and assist in outreach efforts to provide information about college projects.</li>\n <li>Perform other related duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Management of multiple construction projects; experience within a large capital improvement program, and familiarity with relevant Public Codes</li>\n <li>BA or BS in Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Management or a closely related field. Additional qualifying experience in excess of the minimum stated above may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>2 years’ experience in Educational Facility Construction</li>\n <li>Experience utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM)</li>\n <li>Knowledge of all parts of the project life cycle, to include master planning, design, construction and closeout.</li>\n <li>Experience in alternative delivery methods.</li>\n <li>Experience with using a web-based project management system.</li>\n <li>Experience in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified projects and/or the Collaborative for High Performing Schools (CHPS)</li>\n <li>Experience in Formal Construction Partnering</li>\n <li>Experience with the Division of the State Architect (DSA) construction/design processes or similar</li>\n <li>A valid Certificate of Registration as an Architect by the California Architectural Board or Professional Engineer by the California State Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.</li>\n <li>A valid Construction Manager (CCM) credential by the Construction Manager Certification Institute(CMCI).</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Salary Range: $134,000 to $152,000 per year</p>\n<p>Location: Los Angeles, CA</p>\n<p>Work Environment: Onsite</p>\n<h2>Our Company</h2>\n<p>Cordoba Corporation is a leading civil engineering, construction management, program management, and planning firm.
