All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran</p>\n<p> EEO/VEVRAA.</p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>East Penn Manufacturing has Maintenance Mechanic, Electro-Mechanical Technicians, Machine Shop, and other related maintenance Internship oppurtunities.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is a paid postion to help gain hands on experience in maintenance and technical areas for college and trade school students.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Maintain, Repair, Troubleshoot and Install Industrial Manufacturing Equipment and Systems</p>\n<p>Repair and Rebuild Replacement Parts for Industrial Manufacturing Equipment and Systems</p>\n<p>Welding Fabrication</p>\n<p>Piping Installation</p>\n<p>Basic Electrical Troubleshooting</p>\n<p>*Maintains regular attendance.</p>\n<p>*Ability to work mandatory over time.</p>\n<p>Performs other duties as requested by Management.</p>\n<p>Responsible for producing a high quality product.</p>\n<p>Responsible for proper hygiene, housekeeping, and safety practices.</p>\n<p>Equal Opportunity Employer.</p>\n<p>*These tasks are considered essential elements of the job.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Mechanical Drive Systems</p>\n<p>Fluid Power Systems</p>\n<p>Rigging Systems</p>\n<p>Piping Systems</p>\n<p>Welding</p>\n<p>Basic Electrical Circuits and Electrical Measurement</p>\n<p>Basic Industrial Motor Control (480V)</p>\n<p>Basic and Precision Measuring</p>\n<p>Shop Equipment (saws, grinders, presses, etc.)</p>\n<p> Able to read blueprints and schematics for troubleshooting purposes with guidance at times.</p>\n<p>Working knowledge of the required programming software for troubleshooting and changing timers and counter preset values.</p>\n<p>Working knowledge with required test equipment, i.e. amprobe, voltmeter, oscilloscope.</p>\n<p>Ability to identify the different families of processors and how to get online and what software to use as well as proper cabling and working knowledge of all necessary drivers needed for PC to PLC communication.</p>\n<p>Basic understanding of Windows and know basic DOS commands. A good understanding of my computer for file transfer and copy.</p>\n<p>Some basic understanding of electronics.</p>\n<p>Applied knowledge of the NEC to projects and required tasks with guidance.</p>\n<p>Mechanical skills to include but not limited to, basic welding, knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic operation, understanding pipe sizes, and other mechanical terminology directly associated with required tasks.</p>\n<p>Ability to bend, twist, do extensive walking, lift up to 50 lbs, and have good hand-eye coordination</p>",
