The SLP will provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services for students in the LA County School Districts.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(13, 13, 13)\">Assessment and Diagnosis:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(13, 13, 13)\">Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and voice</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(13, 13, 13)\">Utilize standardized tests, observations, and clinical evaluations to determine the nature and severity of communication and swallowing impairments.</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(13, 13, 13)\">Treatment Planning and Intervention:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(13, 13, 13)\">Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, student goals, and medical history.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(13, 13, 13)\">Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to improve communication skills, including articulation, fluency, voice production, and language comprehension and expression.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(13, 13, 13)\">Address swallowing disorders through therapeutic exercises and techniques.</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(13, 13, 13)\">Therapy Sessions:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(13, 13, 13)\">Conduct therapy sessions with students of all ages</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(13, 13, 13)\">Implement a variety of therapeutic approaches and modalities to meet the diverse needs of clients.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(13, 13, 13)\">Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve therapeutic goals.</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(13, 13, 13)\">Documentation and Reporting:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(13, 13, 13)\">Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, treatment sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(13, 13, 13)\">Prepare written reports and documentation for students, families, referring physicians, and other school professionals as needed.</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(13, 13, 13)\">Collaboration and Communication:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(13, 13, 13)\">Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, educators, occupational therapists, and other school professionals, to ensure coordinated care.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(13, 13, 13)\">Communicate effectively with students, families, and caregivers to educate them about communication disorders and involve them in the treatment process.</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ol>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(13, 13, 13)\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(13, 13, 13)\">Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(13, 13, 13)\">Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(13, 13, 13)\">Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(13, 13, 13)\">Previous experience working as an SLP in clinical, educational, or healthcare settings.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(13, 13, 13)\">Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(13, 13, 13)\">Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(13, 13, 13)\">Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(13, 13, 13)\">Employment Type: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(13, 13, 13)\">Duration: 2025- 2026 School Year</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(13, 13, 13)\">Regular School Hours</span></li>\n</ul>",
