    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Element has an opportunity for a <strong>Metallurgy Technician</strong> whose primary responsibility is to perform routine, metallurgical, mechanical, failure, corrosion testing facilitating metallurgy operations at site or at a laboratory.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Salary: $21- $26/hr DOE </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform routine mechanical testing (tensile, bend, charpy impact, hardness) including CTOD and metallurgical testing (micro / macro examinations) Involvement in site / field testing</li>\n <li>Ensure work compliance to ISO 17025 requirements</li>\n <li>Coordinating with the technicians in the team to carry out work as per the planning schedule</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills / Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Degree/Diploma in Metallurgy or related discipline</li>\n <li>2-4 years of experience working in a laboratory in the field of metallurgy testing</li>\n <li>Good knowledge on international standards and codes</li>\n <li>Excellent report writing skill</li>\n <li>Good communication skills</li>\n <li>Self-motivated team playing with excellent organisational and communication skills</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>\n<p>Element is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
