    "description": "<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p>As part of Retail Department, the Assistant Store Manager will lead the fan and associate experience for the retail sector of the Milwaukee Brewers in assigned Brewers Team Store locations under the direction of the Senior Coordinator - Retail Operations. Oversee daily store operations, provides direction to Retail Sales Associates in accordance with Club’s customer service, sales, and applicable operation standards.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p>Core duties for this role include, but are not limited to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrates and models excellent customer service behaviors that align with the Brewers values</li>\n <li>Supports training, developing and mentoring Retail Sales Associates</li>\n <li>Executes daily opening and closing procedures & paperwork</li>\n <li>Maintain Brewers Team Store visual merchandising standards – ensure merchandise is correctly labeled and displayed, routinely stock and arrange merchandise on shelves</li>\n <li>Follows Brewers Team Store policies and procedures, ensure they are consistently implemented and maintained in all store locations, counsel retail associates as needed</li>\n <li>Monitors the Team Store e-mail inbox, responds to customer requests and inquiries</li>\n <li>Supports store initiatives and projects such as new hire interviews, store replenishment, maintaining accurate counts of jersey customization supplies</li>\n <li>Maintains Brewers Team Store cleaning, sanitizing and safety standards</li>\n <li>Assists the retail warehouse team with inventory by scanning product and transfers as needed</li>\n <li>Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts and reports to security/Operations Manager</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The ideal candidate will have:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prior retail leadership experience preferred (minimum one year)</li>\n <li>Previous cash handling experience required</li>\n <li>Prior experience working with point of sale (POS) system required</li>\n <li>High school diploma or GED required</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The ideal candidate will also have:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent customer service skills and willing to adhere to company’s customer service standards</li>\n <li>Good communication skills (verbal & written)</li>\n <li>Attention to detail</li>\n <li>Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and as a team member</li>\n <li>Basic math skills necessary to accurately handle money </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Our Team</strong></p>\n<p>The Brewers Retail department captures and personalizes each fan’s visit to the stadium and contributes to the memories made at American Family Field.
