The responsibilities of this role include 3D model design for electrical systems as well as on-site BIM coordination. In this position, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and reviewing 3D models of cable trays and conduits for construction projects using BIM software.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Title:</strong> Electrical BIM Engineer</p>\n<p><strong>Location: </strong>Phoenix</p>\n<p><strong>Travel: </strong>N/A</p>\n<p><strong>Pay:</strong> $92,000 to $110,000</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Note: Visa Sponsorship, OPT or other methods, are not provided for this position. Must be a Permanent Resident or US Citizen to be considered for this role</em></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop models of panels, electrical conduits, cable trays and instruments based on the piping skid model.</li>\n <li>Develop family files for panels, electrical conduits, cable trays, and instruments as needed.</li>\n <li>Review of Customer System Specifications and complete Master Project List.</li>\n <li>Perform clash detection and coordinate resolutions</li>\n <li>Update and manage model data, including attribute information</li>\n <li>Collaborate with design and production teams for data integration</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with BIM standards and modeling guidelines</li>\n <li>Support quantity take-off and shop drawing preparation</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills, Knowledge & Abilities</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Skills</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to create and interpret electrical drawings, including single-line diagrams, schematic diagrams, panel drawings, and wiring diagrams </li>\n <li>Strong basic knowledge of electrical and control system design</li>\n <li>Proficiency in CAD/BIM tools such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, Plant 3D, Revit.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of electrical standards and codes such as UL, NEC, and NEMA.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <strong>Abilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders (customers, design teams, and subcontractors) </li>\n <li>Ability to prioritize tasks appropriately and work proactively </li>\n <li>Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education & Work Experience</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree  in electrical or controls engineering or related field or equivalent experience</li>\n <li>Communication skills with internal and external stakeholders</li>\n <li>Basic knowledge of electrical engineering principles </li>\n <li>Ability to read electrical drawings</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience in the construction industry </li>\n <li>Strong organizational and time-management skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Equal Opportunity Employer, including Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities</strong></p>",
