Kurita’s corporate philosophy is to study the properties of water, master them and create an environment in which nature and humanity are in harmony We are seeking an Electrical BIM (Building Information Modeling) Engineer with expertise in electrical design for construction site projects. The responsibilities of this role include 3D model design for electrical systems as well as on-site BIM coordination. In this position, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and reviewing 3D models of cable trays and conduits for construction projects using BIM software. Title: Electrical BIM Engineer Location: Phoenix Travel: N/A Pay: $92,000 to $110,000 Note: Visa Sponsorship, OPT or other methods, are not provided for this position. Must be a Permanent Resident or US Citizen to be considered for this role Responsibilities Develop models of panels, electrical conduits, cable trays and instruments based on the piping skid model. Develop family files for panels, electrical conduits, cable trays, and instruments as needed. Review of Customer System Specifications and complete Master Project List. Perform clash detection and coordinate resolutions Update and manage model data, including attribute information Collaborate with design and production teams for data integration Ensure compliance with BIM standards and modeling guidelines Support quantity take-off and shop drawing preparation Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Skills Ability to create and interpret electrical drawings, including single-line diagrams, schematic diagrams, panel drawings, and wiring diagrams Strong basic knowledge of electrical and control system design Proficiency in CAD/BIM tools such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, Plant 3D, Revit. Knowledge of electrical standards and codes such as UL, NEC, and NEMA. Abilities Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders (customers, design teams, and subcontractors) Ability to prioritize tasks appropriately and work proactively Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Qualifications Education & Work Experience Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in electrical or controls engineering or related field or equivalent experience Communication skills with internal and external stakeholders Basic knowledge of electrical engineering principles Ability to read electrical drawings Preferred Qualifications Experience in the construction industry Strong organizational and time-management skills Equal Opportunity Employer, including Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities
