    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>We are hiring in our Financial Department in our Diagnostics division! This is a senior-level position and as a Commercial Financial Analyst, you will support Commercial FP&amp;A, revenue analytics and financial systems of Hologic.</p>\n<p>This is a fully onsite position in San Diego, CA.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>FP&amp;A\n  <ul>\n   <li>Consolidate commercial department expenses, headcount and capital spending report; perform department cost analysis and provide commentary</li>\n   <li>Coordinate FP&amp;A activities with finance team and operations leaders</li>\n   <li>Business partnership\n    <ul>\n     <li>Support cost center expense review, analysis and research</li>\n     <li>Support quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting</li>\n    </ul></li>\n   <li>Support commercial FP&amp;A processes through:\n    <ul>\n     <li>establishing and enforcing policies and procedures;</li>\n     <li>providing trends and forecasts;</li>\n     <li>supporting annual budget</li>\n    </ul></li>\n   <li>Improve financial status by analyzing expenses; identifying trends and giving recommendations</li>\n   <li>Reconcile transactions and manage month close activities for department cost re-classes and accruals</li>\n   <li>Implement structure to support business needs</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Revenue Analytics\n  <ul>\n   <li>Responsible for month-end closing activities related to revenue performance for the Diagnostics division</li>\n   <li>Model and present findings to leadership regarding key activities throughout the month that generated financial outcomes</li>\n   <li>Prepare required month end journal entries for activities above</li>\n   <li>Work on special projects as required</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Financial System Support\n  <ul>\n   <li>Focus on Hyperion Planning / SmartView and financial database (QlikSense, Power BI)</li>\n   <li>Focus on Oracle</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong business acumen</li>\n <li>Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Strong analytical skills and attention to detail&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to complete multiple priorities within tight deadlines&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to interface with all levels of management&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Understanding of Oracle ERP systems and Hyperion</li>\n <li>Knowledge of US GAAP</li>\n <li>Advanced worksheet manipulation skills</li>\n <li>Power BI development skills a plus</li>\n <li>Microsoft Copilot skills a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Education and Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, with 5 - 8 years of professional experience in an FP&amp;A or commercial analytics environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The annualized base salary range for this role is $83,000 to $129,900 and is bonus eligible.
