Ithaca College seeks strong clinicians, collaborators, and interprofessional education advocates committed to advancing PA education to join the faculty team for its Physician Assistant Studies graduate program. This is a full-time 12-month, multi-year renewable notice (non-tenure) position in person in Ithaca, NY.&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><span>This position reports to the Program Director, but will support the Director of Clinical Education in all aspects of clinical education in the PA program such as:&nbsp;</span></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Building relationships to identify, establish, and maintain sufficient clinical rotation sites per ARC-PA standards.</li>\n <li>Developing, maintaining, and reviewing clinical sites and respective affiliation agreements.</li>\n <li>Establishing and maintaining relationships with clinical preceptors.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Providing clinical preceptor orientation on instruction and assessment of the physician assistant learner.</li>\n <li>Conducting clinical site visits to evaluate the site, learners, and preceptors.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Developing and implementing the clinical rotation scheduling process for the program, and managing the assignments, assessments, and remediation of learners.</li>\n <li>Planning and implementing assessment and activities during the end of rotation days.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ensuring that clinical faculty and preceptors are oriented in learner assessment of learning outcomes and tracking achievement of clinical competencies to ensure learner clinical progress.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Conducting data collection and analysis for the clinical phase of the program.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">The successful candidate will also teach in our didactic curriculum, and we welcome expertise in a wide variety of clinical and scholarship areas, experience with clinical simulation, and/or interprofessional approaches to practice and education are encouraged to apply. We welcome clinicians new to academia and provide support to develop teaching skills through our Center for Faculty Excellence. All Ithaca College faculty are required to advise students as a component of teaching duties. The selected candidate will be provided with reassigned time from teaching to pursue a scholarly research agenda or clinical practice activities. The successful candidate would also be expected to participate in service to the program, school, and college. All principal faculty in the PA program are expected to actively participate in ongoing evaluation of the mission statement, program goals and competencies, and curriculum design.</p>\n<p><span>Ithaca College and the School of HSHP are strongly committed to offering robust curricular experiences and fostering an inclusive environment for its campus community. Its mission is to educate, engage and empower physician assistants to achieve excellence through medical theory, clinical practice, and exemplary professional performance in communities that are historically marginalized, underserved, health professional shortage areas, and rural. The program is currently provisionally accredited by ARC-PA with a final site visit that occurred in October, 2025.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">Our program offers several unique components:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>A dedicated state-of-the-art facility which includes 20,000 square feet of smart classrooms and a Clinical Learning Center that includes high fidelity mannekins, dedicated space for simulated clinical experiences, and an operating suite.
