Adjust and approve payroll sheets in Ultipro</li>\n\t<li>Serve as a coach to other team members in the laboratory.</li>\n\t<li>Make recommendations for cost savings and reducing expenses including financial analysis for new instrumentation and procedures in the lab.</li>\n\t<li>Assist with LIS maintenance tasks (Lab information System).</li>\n\t<li>Monthly QC statistics and submission to peer review programs</li>\n\t<li>Evaluate Quality Control\n\t<ul>\n\t\t<li>Input New Lot of Control</li>\n\t\t<li>Establish Reference Range</li>\n\t\t<li>Linearity</li>\n\t\t<li>Verify Calibration</li>\n\t\t<li>Assign Instrument Validation</li>\n\t</ul>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>Update mean on all instruments to reflect reagent lot changes or other events that could impact the performance of the QC</li>\n\t<li>Keep track of CAP requirements (Linearity/Instrument to Instrument comparisons) are due and assign to techs.</li>\n\t<li>Help implement and validate new tests.</li>\n\t<li>Update all procedures as needed.</li>\n\t<li>Assign daily work.</li>\n\t<li>Schedule Instrument Maintenance</li>\n\t<li>Perform related work as required.</li>\n\t<li>Potential for travel to other lab locations.&nbsp; Mileage will be reimbursed after employee submits to supervisor.&nbsp;</li>\n\t<li>Technical Supervisor role duties as specified by CLIA</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>CERTIFICATE/LICENSE:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Certification as Medical Lab Scientist by American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP)</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>OR</p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Certification as Medical Lab Scientist by American Medical Technologists(AMT)</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>Education Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n\n<p>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in science, Chemical, Physical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology, which includes course work meeting the requirements for ASCP or AMT certification. (New graduates must provide degree/transcripts within twelve (12) weeks of hire.)</p>\n\n<p><strong>TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</strong></p>\n\n<p>Requirements include full range of body motion including manual and finger dexterity and hand eye coordination.&nbsp; Frequent standing and walking are required for extended periods of time.&nbsp; Lifting to 25 pounds may be necessary.&nbsp; Visual acuity and normal color perception as well as vision correctable to 20/20 and hearing within a normal range are required.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></p>\n\n<p><strong>TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:</strong></p>\n\n<p>Exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, medicinal preparations, and other conditions common to a clinic environment is present.</p>\n\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n\n<p><strong>PAY AND BENEFITS:</strong></p>\n\n<p>The estimated pay range for this position is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses.
