Description

Summary As a Designer, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) using AutoCAD Plant 3D, AutoCAD, and Inventor software. The ideal candidate will have intermediate-level design experience in industrial or process facility environments and be comfortable working within a collaborative engineering team. Responsibilities Utilize AutoCAD Plant 3D, AutoCAD, and Inventor software to support facility and piping design activities. Create and revise piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), layouts, and design drawings. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to understand project requirements and specifications. Interpret technical drawings, sketches, and engineering markups to produce accurate design packages. Coordinate with process, mechanical, electrical, and I&C disciplines to integrate design inputs. Review and update drawings to reflect design changes and engineering modifications. Ensure drawings comply with applicable project standards and design requirements. Perform quality checks on completed drawings and design deliverables. Participate in design review meetings and support project schedule milestones. Requirements High school diploma required; associate degree or higher preferred. Experience using AutoCAD Plant 3D and AutoCAD in an industrial or process design environment Experience with Inventor or other 3D modeling software Intermediate-level design experience preferred Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering sketches Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering team Familiarity with chemical, industrial, manufacturing, or process facility design preferred Experience in the DOE market segments a plus. Client projects for this position require US Citizenship.
