This role requires advanced clinical judgment, independence, and experience managing serious mental illness and co-occurring disorders in a structured, secure environment.</p><hr><h3><strong>Schedule &amp; Work Hours</strong></h3><ul><li><p><strong>Full-Time:</strong> Four (4) 10-hour shifts</p></li><li><p><strong>On-Site Position</strong></p></li></ul><hr><h3><strong>Daily Duties</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Conduct comprehensive <strong>mental health evaluations</strong> to support treatment planning for detainees with serious mental illness or mental disorders</p></li><li><p>Refer patients to <strong>acute or inpatient psychiatric care</strong> as clinically indicated</p></li><li><p>Provide <strong>direct mental health services</strong>, including on-site counseling and <strong>individual and group psychotherapy</strong></p></li><li><p>Deliver <strong>substance abuse education and behavioral analysis</strong> for individuals with mental health and substance use concerns</p></li><li><p>Conduct specialized programming within a <strong>Modified Therapeutic Treatment Community (MTTC) model</strong></p></li><li><p>Collaborate with medical providers, contract staff, and healthcare professionals to support continuity of care</p></li><li><p>Provide education and consultation on treatment, monitoring, and management of patients with <strong>co-occurring diagnoses</strong></p></li></ul><hr><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Provide mental health treatment to individuals presenting with:</p><ul><li><p>Sexual or physical assault, abuse, or neglect</p></li><li><p>Suicidal ideation, dangerous behaviors, or psychosis</p></li></ul></li><li><p>Provide post-discharge follow-up care for individuals returning from inpatient psychiatric treatment</p></li><li><p>Develop, manage, and monitor <strong>individualized treatment plans</strong> in coordination with behavioral health technicians</p></li><li><p>Provide oversight and consultation to <strong>multidisciplinary teams</strong>, behavioral health technicians, and interns as applicable</p></li><li><p>Assess and evaluate mental health conditions using <strong>DSM-V diagnostic criteria</strong></p></li><li><p>Refer patients to outside treatment facilities when clinically necessary</p></li><li><p>Serve as a <strong>mental health consultant</strong> to other healthcare professionals within the facility</p></li><li><p>Utilize the <strong>Electronic Health Record (EHR)</strong> system to complete assessments, evaluations, referrals, and discharge summaries</p></li><li><p>Respond to or coordinate response to <strong>medical or psychiatric emergencies</strong> as required</p></li><li><p>Provide care across the lifespan as appropriate to the facility setting</p></li></ul><hr><h3><strong>Qualifications</strong></h3><p><strong>Education</strong></p><ul><li><p>Master&#8217;s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from a program accredited by the <strong>Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)</strong></p></li></ul><p><strong>Licensure</strong></p><ul><li><p>Current, permanent, full, and unrestricted <strong>LCSW license in the state of Arizona</strong></p></li><li><p>Independent practice licensure required</p></li></ul><p><strong>Experience</strong></p><ul><li><p>Minimum <strong>one (1) year of experience</strong> as an independently licensed clinical social worker</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated skill in assessing, diagnosing, and treating behavioral health conditions and serious mental illness</p></li></ul><p><strong>Certifications</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>BLS for Healthcare Providers</strong> (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)</p></li></ul><p><strong>Preferred (Not Required)</strong></p><ul><li><p>Experience in a <strong>detention, correctional, residential, or secure healthcare setting</strong></p></li></ul><hr><h3><strong>Benefits</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Paid Time Off (PTO)</p></li><li><p>Paid Sick Time</p></li><li><p>Paid Holidays</p></li></ul><hr><h3><strong>Why Join This Team?</strong></h3><p>This position offers the opportunity for impactful clinical work with a high-need population, fostering strong collaboration across disciplines.
