This includes SDS compliance, shipping marking and naming for DOT, product labeling compliance, monitoring on-going regulatory changes, and working cross-functionally to maintain compliance with domestic and international regulations.&nbsp;</p><p>Specific Duties: Specific duties are intended to describe activities that support the summary above. The list is not all inclusive &ndash; other duties may be required to cover the breadth and depth of the position.&nbsp;</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 1in;\"><li>To understand and follow Malco&rsquo;s Quality Policy and Quality Objectives.</li><li>To access and follow procedures and work instructions which are applicable to the job function.</li><li>Create, review, and maintain SDS, California ingredient disclosure documents and product labels.</li><li>Review TDS in conjunction with Marketing for regulatory compliance.</li><li>DOT &ndash; Manage product hazards associated to transportation and classification.</li><li>Manage product compliance with domestic and international laws.</li><li>Ensure product labeling, packaging, and marketing materials meet legal requirements.</li><li>Monitor changes in regulations and communicate the impacts to internal teams.</li><li>Maintain regulatory files and documentation for audits and inspections.</li><li>Support new product launches.</li><li>Collaborate with R&amp;D, Quality, Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing and Transportation.</li><li>Respond to regulatory inquiries.</li><li>Participate in the internal audit program.</li><li>Assist in other Quality activities as needed including Quality Initiative Teams (QIT)</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:96px;\">Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in biology, chemistry, or related field.</p><p style=\"margin-left:96px;\">Experience/Qualifications:&nbsp;</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0.75in;\"><li>4 or more years of related experience, preferably in manufacturing.</li><li>Experience with REACH, OSHA, DOT, and consumer label compliance.</li><li>Experience with 3E Generate software preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of applicable regulations.</li><li>Familiarity with global requirements.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communications.</li><li>Problem solving and analytical thinking.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.</li><li>May involve cross-functional teamwork, interaction with regulatory agencies, and time on the production floor.&nbsp;</li></ul>\n",
