Many of our Lead Technicians and Maintenance Supervisors began in this role—and grew with us.</p><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p><ul><li>Respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner</li><li>Assist with apartment turns, repairs, and unit inspections</li><li>Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues</li><li>Help maintain community grounds, amenities, and common areas</li><li>Work with vendors and maintenance team to complete larger projects</li><li>Ensure all work complies with safety guidelines and company standards</li><li>Maintain tools, equipment, and supply inventory</li><li>Communicate clearly with residents and team members to ensure satisfaction</li></ul><p><strong>What You’ll Need to Succeed</strong></p><p><strong>Required:</strong></p><ul><li>Basic knowledge of apartment maintenance tasks (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances)</li><li>Strong work ethic and willingness to learn</li><li>Ability to work independently and in a team</li><li>Availability to work Saturdays (closed Sundays) and participate in on-call rotation as needed</li><li>Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p><ul><li>Previous experience in apartment, facilities, or building maintenance</li><li>HVAC certification or EPA license (a plus, not required)</li><li>Bilingual abilities</li></ul><p><strong>What You’ll Get</strong><br>CAF offers one of the most competitive benefits packages in the industry—because we believe when we take care of you, you can take care of everything else.</p><ul><li>Commission opportunities based on performance</li><li>15 Paid Holidays (including CAF Impact Day)</li><li>PTO based on tenure:</li><li>0–4 years: 15 days</li><li>5–9 years: 20 days</li><li>10–14 years: 25 days</li><li>15+ years: 30 days</li><li>3 Flex Days per year</li><li>Medical, Dental &amp; Vision (employee medical starts at $65/month)</li><li>401(k) with company contributions (after 6 months)</li><li>Paid Parental Leave (10 days)</li><li>30–50% Employee Housing Discount (after 30 days, if applicable)</li><li>Recognition programs and a people-first culture</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong><br>This role requires frequent physical activity and mobility around the apartment community.
