font-size: 12pt\">Under the supervision and direction of the Speech Language Pathologist, the SLPA will be responsible for:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Implementation of student communication strategies</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Moving students toward progress on IEP goals</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Tracking progress towards the goal and assisting with the completion of progress reports</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Engaging in data-driven instruction and therapy</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Duties:</span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Under the supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist, the SLPA must implement goals identified on student IEPs related to Speech and Language in the areas of:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Expressive Language Skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Receptive Language Skills</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Support for students with Augmentative Communication Devices</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Support classroom curriculum as it relates to language acquisition</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Follow school-wide systems, rules, and positive behavior interventions</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Deliver services in a classroom integration model</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Coach the classroom staff on the implementation of speech/language therapy goals</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Communicate effectively and proactively with students and families</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Responsible for paperwork compliance with data collections relating to IEP goals</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Accountability for growth and proficiency on IEP goals</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Participate in annual and ongoing staff training</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Provide training for new SLPAs under the guidance and supervision of the SLP</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Conduct no less than 2 professional development sessions per year on sensory under the guidance and supervision of the SLP</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Provide opportunities for shadowing, coaching, and modeling throughout the year for Tier 3 SLPAs that require additional support with guidance and supervision from the SLP</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;
