We firmly believe that diversity fosters innovation and contributes to the success of Arrow.</strong></em></p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>In Business since 1919 and still growing, Arrow is a leader in bulk commodity hauling, reload operations, freight management, logistics, consulting, and technology with operations throughout Canada and the U.S.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are looking for an experienced <strong>General Labourer </strong>for a project in<strong> Kamloops, BC.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The role of the General Labourer is to assist with site maintenance, cleaning of equipment, helping around the site, monitoring disposal of items and general site clean up.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Great people work here!</em></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Follow all workplace safety policies, and compliance regulations, participate in identifying hazards</li>\n <li>Comply with all rules and regulations, protocols and established metrics</li>\n <li>Establish or adjust daily tasks/schedules to meet changing order priorities</li>\n <li>Maintenance of equipment, e.g. wash equipment </li>\n <li>Follow maintenance testing and repairs procedures of products</li>\n <li>Keep yard and equipment neat and organized </li>\n <li>May be asked to travel to other job sites to assist if necessary</li>\n <li>Provide internal and external Customer Service excellence</li>\n <li>Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of yard, shop, department, or work crew</li>\n <li>Ability to understand cross training on all functions at facility</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>You Possess</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Can carry at least 50 lbs and swing a 10 lbs sledge hammer</li>\n <li>Ability to work outside in all weather conditions (snow, rain, sub-freezing temps, heat, wind)</li>\n <li>Ability to Travel to various project sites</li>\n <li>Strong safety mindset</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule</li>\n <li>Previous experience in the civil construction industry is an asset</li>\n <li>Needs to be responsible, accountable and dependable</li>\n <li>Demonstrates strong communication skills both verbally and written</li>\n <li>Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment</li>\n <li><strong>The embodiment of Arrow's Core Values: Safety, Quality, Integrity, Responsibility, Teamwork, and Fun! </strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2></h2>\n<p></p>",
