Description
The Oglethorpe University Chemistry Program is seeking adjunct instructors to teach General Chemistry I Lab during the Fall 2026 semester. The lab sections enroll no more than 16 students, so the learning environment is ideal for one-on-one faculty-student interactions. Applicants will be expected to foster an inclusive learning environment by engaging in and promoting diverse teaching, learning, and mentoring communities.
Laboratory courses meet for one three-hour period each week. The semester runs from August 24 th to December 4 th , with final exams in the following week. Final grades for the semester are due on Tuesday, December 15 th .
