About 2Unique Catering Company 2Unique Catering Company is a versatile, forward-thinking culinary operation offering services ranging from drop-off cuisine service to interactive stations and exquisite multi-course plated events. We are passionate about creativity, outstanding service, and unforgettable guest experiences. We are seeking an Production cook who will be energetic to help build and maintain our off-premise delivery service of “drop off” catering to business and residential clients.
Position Overview Two Unique Catering is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production cook to join our culinary team. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality ingredients and menu components that support both business-to-business catering and private event catering.
Our events vary in size, guest count, and service style, including interactive stations, small plates, and seated dinners—requiring a prep cook who is organized, efficient, and adaptable in a fast-paced, event-driven kitchen environment.
Prepare ingredients and menu components according to company recipes and production standards Support production for corporate and private event catering menus Maintain consistency and quality across all food preparation Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety protocols Always maintain a clean and organized workstation Assist culinary team members with daily prep lists and production goals Accurately label, store, and rotate food products according to food safety standards Communicate effectively with chefs and kitchen leadership regarding production needs Adapt to changing production demands based on event schedules and business needs
Minimum 2 years of professional kitchen experience required Strong knife skills and foundational culinary techniques Well-rounded knowledge of food products, ingredients, and preparation methods Excellent time management and organization skills Ability to follow recipes and standardized production procedures Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume catering environment
Certifications
Serve Safe Certification required OR willingness to obtain certification within 90 days of employment through the company-provided training platform.
Schedule Expectations
This is an event-driven culinary position, requiring flexibility in scheduling, including: Limited evenings Weekends and peak event periods as needed
