In addition to providing preventive care with a full range of vaccines and parasite medication, Delta Animal Hospital has a state-of-the-art laboratory, radiology, and surgical equipment to diagnose and treat all our patients.</p>\n<h2>Essential Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries.</li>\n <li>Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples as well as interpret results.</li>\n <li>Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.</li>\n <li>Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.</li>\n <li>Provide counsel around pet end of life care.</li>\n <li>Maintain patients’ medical records.</li>\n <li>Ensures compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statues, policies, and procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements/Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>DVM/VMD degree from an accredited AVMA institution.</li>\n <li>Appropriate state licensure.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients.</li>\n <li>Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Pay Range</h2>USD $50,000.00 - USD $70,000.00 /Yr.",
