The Associate Production Manager is a motivated, self-starter who leads production to achieve on-time order fulfillment at the right quality levels. In addition, the Associate Production Manager oversees creation and closing of work orders and works with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure production schedules are met. The Associate Production Manager also manages inbound &amp; outbound shipping and logistics.</p><p>A successful Associate Production Manager must be capable of working with minimal supervision, have a &ldquo;can do&rdquo; attitude, possess creative problem-solving skills and be willing to do &ldquo;whatever it takes&rdquo; to complete assigned tasks efficiently and effectively. This team member should have excellent interpersonal skills, great attention to detail and be highly organized with the ability to multi task with minimum interruption to work progress. &nbsp;</p><p><br><strong>Responsibilities and Activities&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Provides continuous coaching and supervision to Program Leads and Medical Device Packaging Specialists, growing their knowledge and leadership skills.</li><li>Works with supply chain and operations to establish a production schedule to meet requested production delivery.</li><li>Oversees the creation and closure of work orders ensuring all documents are completed in accordance with Keystone policies and standards.<ul><li>Support in staging and hard allocation of required materials</li><li>Ensure daily scrap is entered</li><li>Ensure production in/out time is entered correctly and posted</li><li>Reconcile job folders</li><li>Ensure accuracy of inventory after reconciliation</li><li>Close work orders in IQMS per ERP-017</li></ul></li><li>Manage outbound shipping<ul><li>Pick finished goods, make packing slip and ship to customer</li><li>Send copies CofC and packing slip to customers after shipment is scheduled. Send email notifications as required</li><li>Coordinate shipping of non-production related packages, including international shipments</li><li>Schedule logistics for outbound shipments to sterilizers, where applicable</li></ul></li><li>Establish and manage development plans for Program Leads and Medical Device Packaging Specialists</li><li>Manage inbound shipping<ul><li>Schedule logistics for inbound shipments from sterilizers, where applicable</li></ul></li><li>Work with operations and quality to schedule cleanroom monthly bioburden monitoring with respect to the production schedule</li><li>Work with supply chain and quality to schedule LAL and bioburden samples with respect to the production schedule</li><li>Lead other production activities, such as working in manufacturing area with the production, as needed to meet production schedules</li><li>Support the set up and organization of new manufacturing cells for product launches, as needed</li><li>Support in the creation of MAPs and work flow for production launches, as needed</li><li>Support in release of new IQMS procedures, and lead the training of production staff as required</li></ul><p><br><strong>Minimum Requirements and Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>A minimum of 3 years working in a lead or management setting, or similar experience</li><li>Must be able to perform sedentary work with periods of active work to support the organization objectives</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Travel, less than 10%, to customers, suppliers, training, and other needs as required</li><li>Must be able to read and write, and perform basic math</li><li>Must be able to operate a forklift and/or pallet jack</li><li>Frequent pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 45 pounds may be required along with sitting, standing, walking, bending at the waist and knees are required at various&nbsp;times<a id=\"_anchor_1\" href=\"#_msocom_1\" language=\"JavaScript\" name=\"_msoanchor_1\" target=\"_blank\">[AR1]</a>&nbsp;</li><li>Employment at Keystone is contingent on background check and drug screen prior to start date.</li></ul><p><strong>Schedule</strong></p><p>Monday through Friday, sometimes requiring extended work hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays to ensure minimal interruption to production.
