Our culture supports our values by fostering innovative and critical thinking and a deep belief in living up to our promises.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Headquartered in the United States, Pattern has a global portfolio of more than thirty-five power facilities and transmission assets, serving various customers that provide low-cost clean energy to millions of consumers.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Job Purpose</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Lead an FP&A team delivering performance management and strategic analysis across Pattern’s operating-asset fleet (budgeting, forecasting, reporting, KPI analysis). Drive operations business-intelligence improvements. Develop and present executive- and Board-ready materials (strategy, performance summaries, key risks, trends).</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Key Accountabilities</strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Budget and Forecast Management</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead annual budget and forecast cycles (planning, inputs, reviews and approvals) and facilitate reviews with Operations, executives, and the Board.</li>\n <li>Ensure budgets and forecasts (revenue, cost, gross margin) are accurate in corporate systems.</li>\n <li>Manage periodic reforecasts (planning, SME inputs, review facilitation).</li>\n <li>Highlight key drivers and period variances; run sensitivities; prepare materials to report fleet performance.</li>\n <li>Provide analysis to improve operations financial performance.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Performance Reporting</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead fleet-performance reporting and analysis for operations and executive reviews; present results clearly.</li>\n <li>Quantify fleet cost drivers (transmission, major maintenance, LTSAs, management fees, O&M, and project-administration contracts).</li>\n <li>Create high-quality materials (e.g., strategy presentations) for executive management and the Board.</li>\n <li>Ensure appropriate systems and tools support performance reporting </li>\n <li>Identify performance-variance drivers and support improvement initiatives.</li>\n <li>Assess gross-margin risks; estimate impacts for enterprise risk reporting.</li>\n <li>Conduct benchmarking and other strategic analyses as needed.</li>\n <li>Partner with Energy Management to analyze and recommend variable-revenue assumptions (real-time prices, congestion, transmission, RECs).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Business Intelligence improvements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Improve how operations data is captured and shared for KPIs.</li>\n <li>Build decision-support dashboards using Power BI and related tools.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Experience/Qualifications/Education Required</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Required Work Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>8 - 10 years in FP&A, finance, energy-asset management, or related fields.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Educational Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or related field preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Analytical, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills</li>\n <li>Leadership skills and strategic thinking</li>\n <li>Ability to learn quickly and independently research and apply new knowledge</li>\n <li>Proficiency in analytical, statistical, and financial modelling</li>\n <li>Financial accounting knowledge to explain both management and financial results</li>\n <li>Advanced proficiency with Microsoft products</li>\n <li>Self-directed and highly motivated</li>\n <li>Ability to work cross-functionally to achieve project objectives</li>\n <li>Translate technical operations into commercial and financial analysis for decision-making</li>\n <li>Ability to read and understand contracts</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The expected starting pay range for this role is $103,000 - $135,000 USD. This range is an estimate and base pay may be above or below the ranges based on several factors including but not limited to location, work experience, certifications, and education. In addition to base pay, Pattern’s compensation program includes a bonus structure for full-time employees of all levels.
