    "description": "<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hunt Electric, Inc.</span> of Highlands Ranch, CO is searching for full-time <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Licensed</span> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Journeyman Electricians</span> to join our team. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Major Duties:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Plan new or modified electrical installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, avoid unsightly, hazardous, or unreliable wiring.</span></li>\n<li><span>Installations must be consistent with specifications and local building and electrical codes.</span></li>\n<li><span>Have the ability to follow diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.</span></li>\n<li><span>Using proper electrical tools, the candidate must be proficient in measuring, cutting, bending, threading, assemblies, and electrical raceways, conduit, or wire.</span></li>\n<li><span>Have experience in pulling conductors through the conduit using the necessary tools from a small fish tape to large wire pulling equipment.</span></li>\n<li><span>Connect wiring to lighting fixtures, connect power to mechanical and other equipment, and install grounding leads.</span></li>\n<li><span>Perform various electrical testing such as metering, continuity, amperage, ohm, and voltage measurements of electrical circuits to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components.</span></li>\n<li><span>Perform troubleshooting procedures by observing the functionality of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.</span></li>\n<li><span>Have the ability to perform “lockout tag out” procedures enabling the ability to safely repair faulty electrical equipment or systems.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Actively contributes to a positive team environment.</span></li>\n<li><span>Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.</span></li>\n<li><span>Knowledge of the current National Electrical Code and local electrical codes</span></li>\n<li>Be a self starter.</li>\n<li><span>Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.</span><br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Minimum Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hold a current and valid Colorado Journeyman license.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Knowledge of electrical theory and its application.</span></li>\n<li><span>Knowledge of safety procedures associated with electrical construction.</span></li>\n<li><span>Knowledge of common safety procedures of all types.</span></li>\n<li><span>Knowledge of electrical construction and maintenance practices and procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span>Knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, including indoor, outdoor, and underground systems.</span></li>\n<li><span>Skill in planning, designing, organizing, and executing electrical projects mandated by changing codes, regulations, and safety requirements.</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to analyze electrical problems and devise and carry out effective plans for repairing problems.</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to communicate technical information, listen to instructions, and ask questions as necessary.</span></li>\n<li><span>Skill in the practical application of electrical testing devices.</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to read, understand, and interpret electrical plans, complex circuit schematics, and blueprints.</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to perform assigned work independently with minimal supervision.</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to climb ladders, sufficient mobility to perform duties in small spaces by crouching, stooping, or kneeling, and physical ability to perform tasks requiring strength and finger dexterity.</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to lift heavy objects up to 100 lbs. Anything that appears too awkward and heavy may require getting help to lift.</span></li>\n<li><span>Have a valid Driver's License.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span><em>Competitive salary commensurate with experience ($38.00 per Hour Plus). Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Hunt Electric, Inc. reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
