We're seeking someone who wants to impact the business and play a pivotal role in leading the charge for change. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>As our Director of Data Engineering, you will:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Leadership & Strategy:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the company’s data engineering team</li>\n <li>Collaborate with product, analytics, data science, and business teams to understand data needs and ensure implementation of scalable, reliable data services</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Team Management:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead, mentor, and scale a team of Data, QA and Analytics engineers</li>\n <li>Foster a high-performance culture with a focus on innovation, quality, and continuous improvement</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Data Infrastructure and Platform Engineering:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure data pipelines and platforms (e.g., data lakes, lakehouses, warehouses, data streaming)</li>\n <li>Oversee the integration of structured and unstructured data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality, lineage, and governance</li>\n <li>Ensure high availability, performance, and cost-efficiency of data systems</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Compliance & Security:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work with security and compliance teams to define policies on access control and data privacy and implement controls for PCI</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Innovation & Optimization:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Stay informed about emerging technologies in data engineering and apply them where applicable</li>\n <li>Continuously evaluate and improve platform scalability, performance, and developer experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>These duties must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We know experience comes in many forms and that many skills are transferable.
