This role is responsible for making technical decisions throughout the life of complex remediation projects.&nbsp;</span><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">The position involves leading and participating in technical teams, mentoring junior staff, and researching and implementing effective remediation solutions. Responsibilities include preparing technical reports and proposals, reviewing and interpreting field and laboratory data, coordinating and directing technical staff, and collaborating with project managers to identify sites where remediation recommendations are appropriate.&nbsp;</span><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">This role also includes managing project fiscal responsibilities and leading technical communications with subcontractors, teaming partners, clients, and prospective clients, while promoting a collaborative, team-oriented culture grounded in scientific integrity.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\">Your Key Responsibilities&nbsp;</span></p><ul><li><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Assist in designing and implementing complicated remediation projects focusing on chemical and biological treatment methods.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Serve as lead author of reports, proposals, technical approaches, work plans, technical correspondence, and project specifications.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Manage and complete complex evaluations of field and laboratory data</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Make technical decisions, conclusions and recommendations based on regulatory guidance, field experience, and training.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Prepare technical correspondence, project proposals, technical reports, work plans, and project specifications including cost estimates and budgets.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Research novel technical solutions to challenging environmental problems.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Plan, kickoff, and oversee implementation of technical field programs.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Demonstrate writing skills and Word proficiency. Specific writing skills include correct grammar, punctuation, and concise sentence structure, with an active voice.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Prepare entire reports independently for senior review, while directing others to provide document preparation support.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Prepare proposed scope of services that presents a complete list of proposed activities in a logical fashion to avoid client misunderstandings or exposure to liability independently.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Prepare appropriate cost estimates that include all costs to complete the proposed activities.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Prepare entire workplans independently for senior review.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Prepare portions of large proposal efforts to help Bay West win new work.
