Let’s build something great together!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Details:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Start Date: ~August 31, 2026</li>\n <li>Location: CNRL Albian & Horizon Sites - Fort McMurray, AB</li>\n <li>Rotation: 6/1, 12 hour shifts</li>\n <li>Travel: Flights provided from all major local city hubs in Canada</li>\n <li>Camp accommodations provided</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure all rope access activities are performed safely and in compliance with IRATA standards and company policies.</li>\n <li>Perform inspections, maintenance, and repair work using rope access methods.</li>\n <li>Plan and execute rigging setups, ensuring operational safety and compliance with site and IRATA requirements.</li>\n <li>Conduct pre-job hazard assessments, toolbox meetings, and rescue plans.</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, inspections, and safety checks.</li>\n <li>Perform rescues and emergency response procedures as required.</li>\n <li>Mentor and evaluate lower-level technicians (Level 1 and 2) in safe work practices.</li>\n <li>Support continuous improvement in safety, quality, and operational efficiency.</li>\n <li>Utilize trade expertise (e.g., NDT, Welding, Coatings/Blasting/Painting, Electrical, Insulator, etc.) while performing rope access duties.</li>\n <li>Conduct specialized trade work at height in accordance with industry standards and client specifications.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<p><strong>Certifications</strong><strong>:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>IRATA Level 3 Certification (valid and in good standing) required</li>\n <li>CSTS / OSSA Regional/ ESC CSO/ BSO required</li>\n <li>Standard First Aid Certification required</li>\n <li>CSTS / OSSA / ESC (or equivalent safety orientation) required or asset</li>\n <li>Valid Driver’s License and Clean Driver’s Abstract required </li>\n <li>Other site-specific safety tickets (e.g., Confined Space Entry, H2S Alive, WHMIS, Fall Protection, TDG, Mobile EWP, etc.)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications / Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 2 years of experience as an IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Technician in industrial environments </li>\n <li>Strong understanding of rope access theory, rigging principles, maneuvers, hauling systems, and advanced rescue techniques</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to lead, instruct, and supervise Level 1 and Level 2 technicians</li>\n <li>Proven leadership and communication skills in a team environment</li>\n <li>Strong safety, quality, and client-focus mindset</li>\n <li>Self-motivated and capable of working independently in remote, high-risk, and variable conditions</li>\n <li>Problem-solving and time-management skills with attention to detail</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p>The strength of Tacten lies in its outstanding people.
