To learn more about Rig Technologies products and services, please visit us at&nbsp;<a href=\"https://www.nov.com/about/our-company-structure/rig\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">https://www.nov.com/about/our-company-structure/rig</a></p>\n<p><strong>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and schematics.</li>\n <li>Operate machines or use hand tools and power tools to secure parts in place.</li>\n <li>Install finished assemblies or subassemblies.</li>\n <li>Assemble and attach functional and cosmetic hardware to assemblies using hand tools and power tools.</li>\n <li>Perform functional / continuity tests on completed assemblies.</li>\n <li>May prioritize work based on production schedule.</li>\n <li>Perform the assembly, start up, and function test of equipment systems.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot systems, make necessary repairs and any corrections to system.</li>\n <li>Perform other work related tasks as assigned.</li>\n <li>Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Able to lift 45 pounds.</li>\n <li>Ability to learn on the job and apply.</li>\n <li>Ability to work with heavy equipment.</li>\n <li>Assists with the cleanliness of the work area.</li>\n <li>Performs other work-related tasks as assigned by the Assembly Supervisor.</li>\n <li>Assembles and installs either electrical, electronic, mechanical, or hydraulic / pneumatic components within the motors and generators department.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 3-years assemble/mechanical experience.</li>\n <li>High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>JOB REQUIREMENTS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Limited travel (5% or less).</li>\n <li>Exposed to loud noise while in the warehouse.</li>\n <li>Exposed to moving parts while on the shop floor.</li>\n <li>Exposed to occasional hot and/or cold weather depending on outside climate conditions and warehouse temperature.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Communicates well with other employees.</li>\n <li>Wears proper PPE while on the shop floor.</li>\n <li>Works well alone and in team environments.</li>\n <li>Adheres to facilities safety policies and attends all monthly safety training.</li>\n <li>Attends all Human Resource directed training via classroom, iComply, or HUB Learning CBT.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>May operate both JIB and Overhead cranes.</li>\n <li>May operate Class II &amp; IV Forklifts (Order Picker &amp; Hyster 50 – 170).</li>\n <li>\n  <p>May work at heights – wears Fall Protection Harness when performing work at above 4-feet.&nbsp;</p>\n  <p>&nbsp;</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>COMPETITIVE BENEFITS:</strong>&nbsp;(visit usbenefits.nov.com for more information about our benefits offerings)</p>\n<ul>\n <li>401(k) Retirement Plan – NOV matches every dollar up to 5% of base pay and overtime for every dollar you invest.</li>\n <li>Competitive medical plans that are effective your date of hire.
