This role requires the ability to troubleshoot and service various equipment, ensuring optimal performance while maintaining safety standards.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Work on a 24/7 call-out schedule, with flexibility for overtime and holidays as needed.</li>\n <li>Perform maintenance and repairs on natural gas engines and compressors, including Waukesha, Caterpillar, Cooper slow speed, turbines, Ariel, and Ajax packages.</li>\n <li>Service and maintain Quincy, Ingersoll Rand, and White Superior compressors.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot and complete field repairs on compressors and natural gas engines as needed.</li>\n <li>Possess a strong understanding of engine systems and engine controls.</li>\n <li>Perform in-frame overhauls and complete rebuilds when required.</li>\n <li>Conduct diesel engine or pump repairs, as applicable.</li>\n <li>Read and interpret drawings and technical manuals.</li>\n <li>Perform visual inspections of pumps and motors to detect abnormal conditions prior to start commissioning tests.</li>\n <li>Handle decoupling and reinstallation of pumps, and correct piping alignment with equipment when necessary.</li>\n <li>Assist in process system tests involving mechanical equipment and address soft foot issues in pumps.</li>\n <li>Detect and resolve common pump failures and fix leaks detected during tests.</li>\n <li>Assist with leak test line reinstatements and fill vessel processes, ensuring no leaks are present.</li>\n <li>Maintain a clean work environment and perform general housekeeping tasks.</li>\n <li>Provide support to account managers and customers via phone, email, or in person.</li>\n <li>Complete preventative maintenance on department equipment.</li>\n <li>Observe and comply with all safety and project rules, participating in safety training and procedures such as first aid, CPR, fire drills, and emergency evacuation.</li>\n <li>May be required to travel to worksites via marine or helicopter transport and reside at the worksite on a predetermined schedule.</li>\n <li>Work effectively in a team environment as well as independently without direct supervision.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>5+ years of experience offshore/in-land as a Natural Gas Engine and Compressor Mechanic.</li>\n <li>Valid TWIC card.</li>\n <li>Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.</li>\n <li>Strong troubleshooting skills.</li>\n <li>Must live within 45 minutes of the shop.</li>\n <li>Ability to work overtime, holidays, and be available for call-outs as required.</li>\n</ul>",
