    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>DEPARTMENT:</strong>&nbsp;Fabrication</p><p><strong>JOB TITLE:</strong>&nbsp;3<sup>rd</sup> Shift CNC SET-UP/OPERATOR</p><p><strong>REPORTS TO:&nbsp;</strong>Shift Facilitator</p><p><strong>SHIFT DAYS /HOURS</strong>:&nbsp; 10 hr. shifts (Mon-Thurs) 9:00 pm- 7:00 am) Must be willing and able to work Mandatory OT on off days as necessary.</p><p><strong>STARTING PAY: $23.32 TO $27.00 DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE</strong></p><p><strong>What You Will Be Responsible For:</strong></p><ul><li>Setup and adjust CNC Machines</li><li>Working knowledge of Vertical CNC Mills (3 and 4 Axis)&nbsp;</li><li>Working knowledge of Horizontal Mills</li><li>Working knowledge of all CNC screens and functions</li><li>Work with Quality dept. to interpret layout data</li><li>Perform equipment/maintenance checks to include:</li><li>Able to understand material handling techniques to package parts off CNC as necessary</li><li>Participate in Continuous Improvement activities</li><li>Responsible for all machined parts on the CNC machine.<ul><li>Check coolant for refractometer reading</li><li>Mix and fill new coolant</li><li>Clean machine at the end of the shift</li></ul></li><li>Use and control of daily paperwork to include:<ul><li>Production sheet</li><li>Parts progress reports</li><li>Job traveler packet</li><li>SPC quality sheets</li><li>Other paperwork as necessary</li></ul></li><li>Work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Assist other personnel and perform other duties as required per supervisor.</li><li>Inform the Supervisor of any equipment problems or any other problems.</li><li>Work in a safe manner always wearing all required Proper Protective Equipment (PPE).&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain a clean, clutter-free workstation.&nbsp;</li><li>Able to participate in a collaborative environment.&nbsp;</li><li>Comply with safety policies and procedures.&nbsp;</li><li>Accepts feedback from the Team Leader to ensure the bundles meet safety standards.</li><li>Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Work Environment / Physical Demands:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.</li><li>The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.</li><li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.&nbsp;</li><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.&nbsp;</li><li>The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and always without air conditioning.&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What You Will Need:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Able to read and understand inspection tools.
