    "description": "<h2>Opportunity Information</h2>\n<p><strong>Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a supplemental (part time) Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their dynamic Walk-In Care team in Vacaville, CA</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Independently evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with minor acute illnesses and injuries, following established clinical protocols.</li>\n <li>Provide preventive health services such as immunizations (including flu and COVID‑19) and wellness screenings.</li>\n <li>Conduct sport and camp physicals.</li>\n <li>Perform diagnostic exams and manage treatment plans for conditions such as colds, sinus or ear infections, UTIs (12+ female), sprains, rashes, poison oak, insect bites, eczema, and acne.</li>\n <li>Educate patients on self-care and when escalation of care is needed.</li>\n <li>Utilize Epic EHR and deliver After‑Visit Summaries; coordinate follow-up and updates with referring clinicians or primary care providers, especially within the Sutter network.</li>\n <li>Maintain compliance with Sutter Walk‑In Care protocols, under oversight of a medical director.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid California Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in good standing.</li>\n <li>Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in ambulatory care, urgent care, family medicine, or similar setting.</li>\n <li>Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.</li>\n <li>Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced walk‑in clinic environment.</li>\n <li>Experience using Epic or similar EHR a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Join Us and Enjoy</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Flexible schedule</li>\n <li>Multiple available shifts per week</li>\n <li>No minimum time commitment</li>\n <li>Advanced practice technology, including EPIC</li>\n <li>A positive work-life balance and Northern California's natural beauty and lifestyle</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Organization Details</h2>\n<p>Sutter Medical Group (SMG) is a vibrant and talented community committed to delivering safe, affordable and high-quality care.
