We have developed a culture which supports our staff of caregivers and their families by providing fair and competitive compensation, high quality affordable benefits, and fulfilling work in a fun, friendly environment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Medications you will infuse include: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Immunoglobulin Therapy</strong></li>\n <li><strong>IV Antibiotics</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Enteral and Total Parenteral Nutrition</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Anti-inflammatory Biologics</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Inotropes</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Clotting Factor and other specialty medications</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>High-quality, affordable benefits for all Full-time and Part-time Employees:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>• Medical, Dental & Vision Benefits plus, HSA & FSA Savings Accounts• Supplemental Coverage – Accident, Critical Illness and Hospital Indemnity Insurance• 401(k) Retirement Plan with Employer Match• Company paid Life and AD&D Insurance, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability• Employee Discounts• Tuition Reimbursement• Paid Time Off & Holidays</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Amerita is part of the BrightSprings Health family of brands.</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assesses all patients assigned and establishes and implements the Plan of Care</li>\n <li>Adheres to policies and procedures addressing the scope of services outlined in both Infusion nursing services, pharmacy services and state laws and regulations</li>\n <li>Adheres to INS and IgNS standards of practice, CDC guidelines, scope and standards of practice, and code of ethics as defined by American Nurses Association</li>\n <li>Collaborates with pharmacy staff, sales partners, ordering provider and patient to develop and monitor goals of patients’ therapies</li>\n <li>Completes patient care documentation in place of service including patients’ home or AIS</li>\n <li>Manages vascular access devices, to include insertion of peripheral infusion devices and ability to draw labs via peripheral venipuncture</li>\n <li>Educates patients and caregivers</li>\n <li>Evaluates progress toward goals and makes recommendations to physicians for changes in the Plan of Care based on patients’ needs</li>\n <li>Coordinates nursing care with home health and other community agencies as indicated</li>\n <li>Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled per branch protocol</li>\n <li>Complete expense reports monthly tracking mileage and other miscellaneous incidental expenses</li>\n <li>Complete annual competencies and mandatory training within assigned due dates</li>\n <li>Supervisory Responsibility: No</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred</li>\n <li>Valid nursing license in state(s) of practice</li>\n <li>Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse</li>\n <li>Previous infusion and home health care experience preferred</li>\n <li>Extensive experience in IV therapy preferred</li>\n <li>Current CPR certification</li>\n <li>Flexible schedule with the availability to work a variety of shift models</li>\n <li>Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team</li>\n <li>Effective verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license and auto insurance</li>\n <li>Must meet company standards for driving record as well as driver age requirement</li>\n <li>Percentage of Travel: 100%-Regular driving to patient’s homes for visits is required as part of this position</li>\n</ul>\n<p>**To perform this role will require constantly sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, crouching, stooping and typing on a keyboard with fingers.
