Drive Strategic Marketing Investment as our FP&A Manager!
Looking for a forward-thinking financial professional with a passion for optimizing marketing spend and delivering strategic insights. The Marketing FP&A Manager is at the forefront of managing and analyzing Tiffany’s worldwide marketing investments.
The candidate will lead the charge in budget creation, sophisticated re-forecasting, and insightful monthly reporting for our global marketing expenditures. She/ he will provide crucial strategic analysis on marketing spend by channel and product category.
Tiffany is therefore looking for someone who can seamlessly blend strategic vision with hands-on execution. The role does not only contribute to high-level financial planning but also embeds its effective day-to-day implementation. As part of the Global FP&A group, the candidate will be working closely with both central and local marketing and finance teams, requiring stellar communication skills.
Key Accountabilities:
Strategic Financial Partnership: Collaborate closely with Marketing leadership (CMO & VP level) to craft and manage Central & Regional budgets, including annual budget development, revisions, 3-Year Strategic Plans, and monthly/quarterly business reviews. Budget Equation Architect: Partner with Central budget owners to design and implement robust budget equations for key areas like Global Marketing, Global Media, Global Production, Global Special Events, Global PR, Global CVM, and Global Client Relations. Performance Driver: Lead quarterly Central marketing budget reviews with the CMO, proactively identifying risks and opportunities, and aligning on critical campaign initiative funding to maximize ROI. Global Spend Analyst: Dive deep into worldwide marketing spend (MTD & YTD), working alongside international partners to understand marketing activities, analyze variances from prior years and forecasts, and optimize spend timing. Synthesize these insights into detailed monthly reports with actionable commentary that are published to CFO/CMO and LVMH. Budget Consolidation: Take ownership of consolidating worldwide marketing budgets, collaborating with regional partners and Central teams to accurately estimate monthly and quarterly spend. Investment Optimization: In close coordination with the CMO, expertly manage all approved incremental and reallocated marketing funds at regional and market levels. Continuously monitor budget performance, highlighting risks and opportunities to ensure optimal resource allocation. Financial Integrity: Oversee Central business unit monthly reporting and the monthly close process, ensuring expenses are accurately recorded and accruals are fully supported. Global Tracking: Manage the specific global marketing tracker, offering a consolidated worldwide view of marketing spend by channel and product category. The candidate will be also researching and implementing the next generation of innovative ERP solutions to streamline the consolidation process. Event Impact & ROI: Produce insightful quarterly event ROI reports, demonstrating the direct link between marketing investment and committed sales growth and present to CMO. Systems: Act as a financial systems subject matter expert, overseeing financial reporting systems and serving as a key liaison to supporting IT teams. Work with Power BI and Global Financial Solutions groups to implement new reports, automate existing ones, and troubleshoot reporting errors. Inspiring Leader: Lead and mentor a seasonal intern and potentially one Marketing FP&A Analyst. Required Qualifications:
A minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, with a strong emphasis on Marketing Finance. You understand the nuances of marketing investments and their impact on business outcomes. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the unwavering confidence to effectively collaborate, influence, and present to senior management and executive leadership. A proven ability to successfully manage multiple, complex projects concurrently, consistently delivering high-quality results even under tight deadlines. Demonstrated experience in coaching, developing, and leading financial professionals. Impeccable presentation skills, capable of crafting compelling narratives and communicating complex financial data with clarity and impact. The capacity to work independently with minimal oversight, taking initiative and ownership of your responsibilities from conception to completion. A creative thinker with a genuine willingness to challenge the status quo, embrace new approaches, and champion a culture of continuous improvement within financial processes. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint), with hands-on experience in financial planning systems (e.g., HP Planning) and robust data visualization tools like Power BI. Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced Credentials: An MBA or CPA designation, demonstrating a commitment to advanced financial acumen and professional excellence. Industry Acumen: Previous experience within the Luxury or Retail industry, bringing valuable insights into market dynamics and consumer-centric financial strategies.
