Be part of an extraordinary life!</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Rose Senior Living Avon</strong> is recruiting for a hospitality focused <strong>Health &amp; Wellness Companion </strong>to join our team!</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong><u>Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Health &amp; Wellness Companion:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Provides companion services for seniors in the community.&nbsp;Companion services are non-skilled, non-nursing services that do not provide hands-on support.</span></li>\n <li><span>Duties may include the following types of responsibilities:</span>\n  <ul>\n   <li><span>Housekeeping</span></li>\n   <li><span>Shopping and errands</span></li>\n   <li><span>Meal preparation</span></li>\n   <li><span>Laundry, ironing</span></li>\n   <li><span>Pet care such as dog walking, litterbox care, and pet supply shopping</span></li>\n   <li><span>Transportation and escorts to appointments and social events</span></li>\n   <li><span>Companionship and entertainment</span></li>\n   <li><span>Home organization and seasonal decorating</span></li>\n   <li><span>Move-in and move-out assistance such as packing and unpacking</span></li>\n   <li><span>Trash removal</span></li>\n   <li><span>Communication and support related to sensory loss (low vision, hearing)&nbsp;</span></li>\n   <li><span>Tech support such as setting up, trouble shooting and teaching hardware and software</span></li>\n   <li><span>Cleaning and washing detail for golf carts and cars</span></li>\n   <li><span>Handyman services such as hanging pictures, furniture assembly, and/or small repairs</span></li>\n   <li><span>Other responsibilities as assigned by the IHS Director</span></li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><span>Observes the client for changes in general physical and mental conditions. Reports any changes noted to the care coordinator or supervisor.</span></li>\n <li><span>&nbsp;Adheres to the documentation and care procedures and standards of personal and professional conduct.&nbsp;</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong><u>Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Has&nbsp;excellent&nbsp;observation&nbsp;and&nbsp;communication&nbsp;skills.</span></li>\n <li><span>Has CPR certification or receives CPR certification after hire.</span></li>\n <li><span>Is&nbsp;self-directed&nbsp;with&nbsp;the&nbsp;ability&nbsp;to&nbsp;work&nbsp;with&nbsp;little&nbsp;supervision.</span></li>\n <li><span>Is flexible&nbsp;and&nbsp;cooperative&nbsp;in&nbsp;fulfilling&nbsp;obligations.</span></li>\n <li><span>If providing transportation services, must hold a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.</span></li>\n <li><span>Has the ability to read, follow written instructions, and document services provided.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>This is an hourly, non-exempt position working Part-time from 9:00am to 1:00pm, Every other weekend, with varied hours based on resident and family :needs.</u></strong></p>\n<p><strong><u>Part-Time Employee Benefits:</u></strong></p>\n<p>Insurance that starts the 1st of the month following your hire date</p>\n<p>Free uniform tops for designated departments</p>\n<p>Free meal during your shift</p>\n<p>8 Paid Holidays</p>\n<p>5% 401K Match; 1st 3% at 100%; other 2% at 50%</p>\n<p>Many other great perks!!!</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><i><strong>If you're an enthusiastic, compassionate, senior care professional who is passionate about hospitality and senior engagement- please apply, we'd love to get to know you!</strong></i></p>\n<p>EEO Employer&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>",
